Rico ran for nearly 200 yards. Bryce threw for less than 200 with a QBR of 53. These games aren’t comparable. This game is the type I expect from a #1 overall draft pick though. Doesn’t need to be every game but you’d expect this a few times per year at minimum.

Kudos. Now additionally do this against literally anyone else outside of ATL.

Would you trade Derrick Brown to get a top QB prospect?

Bryce was a “top QB” prospect. Y'all love trading away anyone worth a damn to this franchise to get nothing in return. -
Honestly need to start losing some games in this fashion for people to wake TF up. Bryce isn’t the guy. Got outperformed by some dude off his couch on the 1-8 Saints today. This should have been an obvious victory. Had our destiny in our hands with TB likely losing today.

They’ll crawl back out when Bryce has a good drive and the defense bails him out again on the drive after for us to squeak out a 1 pt win.

Official Week 10: Saints @ Panthers Gameday Thread

Every one of you Young apologists deserves this -
I would say closer to 200 but that should be the standard—not the ceiling.
-
Ceiling in context would imply it is reached more than once a year. 1 or 2 games per season of 300+ yardage that mostly happens in garbage time when trying to mount a comeback with the opposing team playing soft defense up front is not consistent with what many would define as an elevation worthy of aspiring.
-
Quality backup is his ceiling. 1st overall picks who are franchise guys don’t turn the ball over twice a game, and average 5 yards a pass for 175 a game.
-
When Bryce doesn’t turn the ball over the rest of the game and puts up a mediocre 200 yards through the air behind Rico grinding this offense forward. Especially if this defense holds up and we manage to squeak out a win. Do NOT fall for it again. Bryce still ain’t him.

Yeah…not seeing much here

My gripe with the black helmet is the lack of white accents in the Panther. It would pop more with the eyes and the teeth. I think the silver is a staple we should keep but we should try something more modern vice the pearlescent finish of the 90s.

And DJ Moore

We aren’t giving David Newton enough credit. This was the mother of all reverse psychology and 4-D Chess to get him back.
