The elevator of emotional hot takes in this place is second to none

Problem is, we haven’t won games. I’m not trying to loathe. My expectations are higher for what we gave up. I advocated for putting pieces around an above average QB to be successful and most on here disagreed. Now Darnold is kicking ass in MN and Baker has looked good in TB for the most part. They’ll likely not win a SB but they're competitive enough and actually look like NFL QBs on an NFL team. Meanwhile we are last in our division going into yet again another losing season and playoff drought.

Most of them are just trying to vindicate themselves for salivating over Bryce at draft time. He’s had a couple average games with a couple of above average plays and they’ve seized the opportunity to ride the lightning while it strikes. Like lightning, though, I see the hype as short-lived.

Throw that man in the slot and watch him cook for the next 10 years.

I want us to win. I have nothing against Bryce and wish him success. I just don’t think he’s that guy.

Young plays a couple average games and people lose their minds. Hope I’m wrong but still don’t think he’s going to fit long term.

I was super critical of the Bryce pick. Wanted CJ. Got poo for it. But in the end Bryce is not a bad dude as bad as he is at football. We can delineate between loathing the football player and hating the human being.

Spiteful is appropriate. Hateful isn’t. We aren't Lions’ fans.

Honest question. Even if the trade is just speculation. Dropping 3 tuddys in the first half of one game with the same roster makes Bryce look that much worse.

Such a weird time to rant about winning

It’s asinine to think sucking out loud every year is going to eventually get you wins when our roster is deprived of talent from the top down.

We aren’t far removed from evaluating talent. If fell off at approximately the time that Tepper inherited the franchise. So until we get some personnel in who can find quality players, your process is going to look a lot like drafting a QB like Bryce.
