  1. If Graham is there they have to take him. Not just because he's the best available but because of his scheme versatility. This team was the worst defense of all time statistically (feel like i've seen worse) and the main culprit was the rush d. After bobby at nose, the depth is horendous. I think MG could serve as a 4tech or zero. He's one of the few interior cats that's going to be disruptive in pass rush too. As far as edge rushers go, and I may be in the minority on this but I'd go Mike Green over Mykell/Stewart . That's assuming J. Walker gets snagged.
  2. Not saying he should be 1st round, but Kyle Kennard is being WAY overanalyzed. At 6-5 260 he won the Nagurski, SEC defensive poy, all american, for those who are unifamiliar. His weaknesses aren't so bad that he should be like 20th among D ends lol. Could he use more pass rush counters, sure, but his fball IQ is better than half these ends i've watched. He's skilled with his hand placement and punch which is important, that's the first thing guys like Belichick look for. I think he can be stiff at the top of the rush, but his lateral movement is better than a lot of the guys I watched. He always found ways to be disruptful, he's craftier and more quick twitch than the testing numbers might say. Takes Great pursuit angles and is good in space when it becomes a broken play. A lot of ends I watched were lost once the ball got outside of the tackle box. I think a predictor of success at this level too is love of the game, and he's a fball guy. "Want to" and relentless coupled with technique win when it comes to DLine play, you can see it with Clowney, when he wants to flip the switch he can, KK always has his switch on.
  3. I think this solidifies Jalon Walker as the pick tbh. Graham and Carter will most certainly be gone. DM probably feels he got burnt by Leggette (still time), so I doubt he goes Mcmillan. Anyways, JW is an off ball LB or edge rusher. It's a win win even if he's not the edge player he's thought to be he's a very athletic inside backer. DM I think is going to lean backer too because it's what he knows best. Would not rule out trading back, and if that's the case I see him going Jihaad Campbell. Also, Walker is a Salisbury kid, the writing is on the wall.
  4. He's one of the most versatile DL in the draft. I do think he's a bit more of a RDE opposite of Brown, but he could play the nose because of his athleticism. I think he gives you pass rush from the interior and is definitely the most gap sound/run stuffer in the draft. Carolina could not stop the run and that must be addressed first. They've got to nail down the front 7. In the 3-4 front he's perfect though, because that DE is going to be a more athletic DT, he can play the 3 if they slide into a eagle front, and then is a perfect 4 technique. I think hes far better than A'shawn, and would be lightyears ahead of Tuttle who just tries to stalemate guys. The zero really needs to be a wardaddy and be more finesse than most think because they are 2 gapping. He's #2 for me if Abdul is gone which is very likely.
  5. Highly probable he is next year. What's concerning, and I've always had this take is how bad this organization has been at evaluating receivers. We've had 1 all pro for certain at this positon in Steve? Muhammad ik had some pro bowl appearances (ik its a popularity vote). But even the solid receivers we've had never lasted long, or were not consistent. We've acquired solid vet WR's like Keyshawn for brief periods but they're essentially washed. As far as drafting pass catchers we are horrendous.
