Poverty franchise move.
-
We'll more than likely have to sign him to an extension.
-
Might as well trade more assets for yet another retread that we'll have to give a large contract to. This front office and owner are inept.
-
I wonder if the third retread quarterback failure will knock some sense into Tepper.
-
We already gave up the farm.

This is fun. It's like picking your favorite in a litter of mutts.
-
I hope so. I cannot watch another game having to see Sam Darnold's stupid face as he's staring up at the jumbotron, dumbfounded, after throwing an interception.

Are they trying to lure Roders from Green Bay next year?

Round 2-3 predictions. Do the Panthers get a pick,?
Krovvy replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm saying I wouldn't trade a player that plays a premium position that we have little depth at. I would trade Robby Anderson first, or a cornerback, or even Christian McCaffrey. -

We would have almost no pass rushing depth if Yetur was traded. Also, I don't think it's smart to trade players mid development. Sometimes it takes a while for defensive lineman to really develop. Mario Addison took years, as did Charles Johnson. -
A lot of posters called it when Cam was dumped and Bridgewater was signed, quarterback purgatory. The Panthers are going to have a difficult choice next year if Fitterer is still around. Does he go with the safe choice or a mid round quarterback? It's always next year when your job is on the line, and you're just looking for marginal improvements. The only way to get off the ride is usually when everyone is fired, players are traded, and an actual rebuild takes place.

Can someone please explain to me how such an awful quarterback is still given chances? The guy in 50 games has 54 touchdowns, 52 interceptions, and 29 fumbles. He does not belong in the NFL, not even as a backup.

Round 1 - The Carolina Panthers select Ikem Ekwonu
Krovvy replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
I wonder what's the chances they'll put him at left guard his first year? It's notoriously difficult to play left tackle your first year in the league, even for elite prospects. -

I'm talking about the website, with both mock drafts. Walter himself has been pretty accurate since 2017 though. -

The reality of building the best offensive line this team has seen for rehash garbage quarterbacks. -

Local reporters and Huddlers with inside sources never get it right. Walterfootball, which everyone in our fanbase makes fun of has been nailing it on the other hand. -
What he really meant was 5 wins.

Tepper needs to sell the team.

Week Of: Draft Buzz, Rumors, & News (w/updates)
Krovvy replied to davos's topic in Carolina Panthers
The local guys, and the Huddle brain trust are usually pretty far off. Walterfootball has been much more accurate over the years than our guys. They've actually nailed our pick for years. -
I think I got a chubby thinking about this line...
Krovvy replied to Ivan The Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
You guys do realize that any quarterback starting four seasons would have games that make them look legitimate right? Sam Darnold, even with elite talent around him, will never be a good quarterback. -
Which ones? I want you to call them out instead of passive aggressive post.
-
This is the least excited for a draft I've been in my entire life. Hardly any picks, no players I really covet, and it's essentially a lame duck season for the coach.

If they take a quarterback, and he busts, just trade him for picks then try again. It seems to work for other teams.
-
One thing you have to remember that even if we draft a bust at quarterback it doesn't mean they'll have no value. Rosen, and Darnold are two examples of absolute busts, but being an asset even after it was plain to see.

That's an odd article to write, it's 2022. Why not do a 2021 redraft or 2020? We have a new GM and coach.
