  1. Except for the one at the bottom of the field. By a couple yards. A good quarterback makes that throw.
  2. Just think, Cam had a worse offensive line and much worse receivers his MVP year.
  3. The guy wants a contract. He's already been overpaid his entire career, but of course he's going to play like his career depends on it, when it does.
  4. Last game of the season against the Saints, as is tradition.
  5. I'm sure they wanted to see it. I said earlier this year it wouldn't be pretty without him. Though overall I wasn't opposed to a trade if the package was great, simply because the Panthers need a quarterback that bad.
  6. Listen, now I know Sam has had 4 years with literally being the worst quarterback in the league, but you have to see past that. What you have to do is take this 4 game stretch playing awful teams, breaking franchise rushing records, and then extrapolate that out. Now, if you do that you have a solid year, almost Teddy Bridgewater like statistically.
  7. As far as I know it's locked in. Though moving up by even a slot would have been beneficial.
  8. I'm shocked that the president of the Sam Darnold Love / Cam Newton Hate club would say this. No, I implied I don't want to trade Moore, but I know that's who they will want. Though it makes sense in every conceivable way. Quarterback is the most important player position in all of sports. The NFL is ensuring that, year by year.
  9. D.J. get those yards. We need you to entice Chicago if need be. Love him, but I already know that's who they're going to want.
  10. Harbaugh and Stroud with D.J. Moore moving to Chicago. Shot in the dark, but might as well take one.
  11. My guess would be that the Panthers will try to trade up with Chicago. If that is the case, then D.J. Moore would probably be a major piece of the trade. As much as it would hurt to loose Moore, it's almost necessary at this point in order to take a real shot at a quarterback.
  12. The 49er's have one of the weakest schedules in the league. It's unfortunate for us.
  13. I'm just saying that's where we're headed if the Panthers don't prioritize what's need for the modern NFL. Number one obviously is the quarterback position, then coaching. Signing cast-offs and hoping you get lucky in the draft, while not prioritizing the position, is just going to prolong the problem. When I say we're becoming the Browns, I more or less mean the fans and the teams standards for what constitutes 'winning'. Only a few years ago, we had fans that were often disappointed by just reaching the playoffs. I feel like that mentality is needed. I know people hate Brady, but there's a reason he's inarguably the best ever at this point. A large part of that was his insanely high standards for himself and his team.
  14. I hate to be the one to inform you, but the Panthers are half a decade now being a losing team, and we're rebuilding. They've just ripped the band-aid off at coach. They haven't yet found the quarterback and are building a team that will require a lot of large contracts very soon. They're becoming the new Browns. No solid choice at this point at quarterback, but they have some great players which the team will have to pay to keep them in town. Hopefully they don't fall into the trap of setting the bar so low that making the playoffs in quite possibly the worst division is the goal. Signing Derek Carr would signal that's what they're gunning for.
  15. Whoever he wants to target he needs to have a strong opinion on what he wants to run. It never works out when the offensive system changes year to year with a new coach.
  16. The only problem with a defensive head coach is the constant turnover of offensive coordinators and their systems. It's difficult to find consistency unless Wilks has a strong idea of exactly what kind of offense he wants to run, and from there what type of offensive coordinator he wants to hire. It can be difficult to find consistency.
