No, no, I get it now. The Panthers wanted Carr so much, that they lost out to a team with major holes, that's cap strapped, and doesn't have much in the way of draft capital. They also didn't throw a trade offer before free agency as well. Definitely Plan A, definitely.
-
Okay, okay. I get it. Carr was the Panthers plan A, and they let him go to the Saints. Makes sense.
-
We were so interested we let him go to our division rival. If he was a Jet right now I would be more inclined to believe it.

Just the yearly cycle of Carolina Huddle insider makes predictions, gets it wrong, disappears.
-
So, who is @Leaky_Faucet then? What is their main account. Why is it this random account is trusted here with you guys? Even though they're wrong?
-
I mean, let's say it was only David Newton. He was still right.
-
Okay, so he was 'right' because he didn't say anything and read tea leaves from actual reporters.
-
We had real reporters saying we were just kicking the tires, everyone knew that.

REPORT: Panthers to aggressive pursue trade up to get a QB
Krovvy replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Panthers trade up to 1, then back to 4, then up to 3, cause fug it. -
Yeah, I mean, he was completely wrong. One guy from here gets it completely wrong, while another person leaking information here got it right. For some reason the guy on a fresh ALT was to be believed, but the other member that had already been dead on with his coaching leaks was ignored? The guy was wrong and was so unsure about their 'leaks' they needed to make a fresh ALT.

REPORT: Panthers to aggressive pursue trade up to get a QB

Walter Football called those picks as well, but they did it like a month prior to the draft. -
Per Matt Miller.. Panthers all in on Richardson?
Krovvy replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
He has work to do, but his pocket presence and arm aren't something you can teach. His offensive line and receivers weren't impressive at all. -
These times are ridiculous for guys this size.

Who's the best blockers of the tight ends this year?
-
I didn't realize you were still here.
-
We didn't really get to see Bryce Young, but I guess: C.J. Stroud Bryce Young Anthony Richardson Will Levis Bryce Young just looks ridiculous in games. He can make something out of nothing, every time. If it wasn't for his size he would be number one still. However, with this workout going so well for Stroud, I feel like he's the safest and overall best. Any of the top three I could easily buy into.
-
Yeah, they weren't talking about dinner.
-
Any lip readers?
-
That was beautiful by Stroud.
-
Yeah, that's what a real cannon looks like.
-
Time to see Richarson's cannon.
-
He's very by-the-book from the games I've watched. I wouldn't go as far as to say he's like a Bridgewater though.

There's just no way the top four are available at our pick with the teams in front of us that need a quarterback this year. There's even teams picking behind us right now doing what they can to leapfrog us for a quarterback. I do not know what is going to happen draft day. There's a lot of talent at quarterback and even more teams that need one.

I wonder what the Cardinals are thinking? Their pick is worth a lot more after today. It's possible that any of Young, Stroud, or Richardson will be available at their pick. Three very different quarterbacks, but all excellent prospects. I have no idea what order they'll go, but I still have the feeling that Stroud will be first.
