He's a great player, huge potential, but damn we have a lot of offensive weapons right now. It's odd how much has changed from before. Before we had a quarterback carrying our offense, and now it looks like we're trying to build an offense that will carry the quarterback(s).

I mean... just like the first round I like the player, think they'll play well, but don't know what we're doing as far as a team building standpoint. Feels like the team is working on the paint job, and wheels, before engine and brakes.

Also, I want to state again this year it's definitely much harder to evaluate players. I think I would be more comfortable with these trade backs if COVID didn't ruin 2020.

You can look up bust rates off offensive linemen past the early second and get back to me. This league has a shortage of two positions primarily. One being quarterback, the other being tackle. These are the two positions that do not hit free agency, and it's for a reason.

I just don't quite understand getting Sam 'Seeing Ghosts' Darnold, and not trying to protect him.

All I'm going to say is this is an odd year to trade back so far. With COVID it's made evaluating these kids really difficult. I'm half hoping we trade some of these third rounders for picks next year, if possible.

So the second, the fourth, and the sixth we trade for Darnold. A lot of this fanbase basically kept equating it to practically nothing, a third round pick — even though that doesn't make sense. Does this mean the Panthers traded down almost an entire round for basically nothing tonight? Since those picks for Darnold were valued so little here.

Well, technically the best way to win a Super Bowl is to have a Manning on his ride into the sunset last game.

Winning cures all, but it's an uphill battle for Sam Darnold, and thus the Panthers.

If the Panthers have another losing season then it will weigh heavily on the current staff.

Just an update on the streamers I watch in China, as well as Korea. They're all going out more, and it looks like things are returning to somewhat normal. Too bad we let things get out of hand here in the US. It took until just this week to start advising people to wear masks. It's shameful.

Yeah, stores are going to be swamped for a while, but it'll probably slow down going into April, or when things peak. I hope they start passing laws to limit people from buying, and reselling products (if there aren't already some). I know a few countries have implemented some serious penalties for trying to profit on the chaos.

I think China has things under control. I watch live streamers that are from China to help learn the language, and things have gotten better, although locked down. There's more people on the streets now, although you have to scan an ID to leave your neighborhood, and get a temperature scan, and then in every store you need to have your temperature scanned again. Everyone stands apart, and everyone wears masks.
