  1. Okay, so I watched one game of Matt Corral now. All I can say is he has an amazing arm. His offensive line, and receivers, were so good though that it just looked easy for him. I feel like at worst he's going to be an NFL backup for years. Someone will try and coach him up if for nothing more than his arm talent.
  2. No one wants to come to Carolina. Tepper has to be tanking right? When the off-season starts we're going to fire sale.
  3. Somehow this old timer is the sharpest looking person in the current Panthers organization. We have to have the sloppiest looking staff in the league.
  4. I watched another of Pickett's games, and he made more throws in tight windows and on the run. A lot better than what I was seeing. However, he had a team around him. His offensive line was great, receivers did well, and the scheme worked. I guess I'm trying to stay positive. He has some interesting traits.
  5. I think Walterfootball has been underatted. A lot of their draft rumor section is fairly accurate.
  6. That's my pro comparison to Pickett. Except Pickett thinks he's a gunslinger. In the NFL Pickett is going to get picked.
  7. That's weird. When I watched Howell's games he always had an incredibly quick release. In the side by side drills earlier this week Howell always got the ball out quicker than the other quarterback.
  8. I can't watch the game at the moment, but I'm following social media, this thread, and a Lion's thread. In the Lion's thread they're talking about taking Malik with the second pick. I'm wondering what's the difference in our fanbases that we're seeing the game so differently. Social media is also somewhat hyped on Malik, but I just keep seeing the same two highlight plays.
  9. I personally don't see the accuracy in Senoir Bowl drills, games or even highlights. Just use this for reference. Look at how many balls in a highlights video are underthrown. His receivers are wide open, his line holds well, and he's underthrowing constantly.
  10. What traits though? I've watched a lot of his games this week, and I don't see anything. Weak arm, slow release, holds onto the ball too long, mediocre athlete. What's there to like? It's weird we have this report now. This entire week has been reports of teams cooling on Pickett.
  11. Too bad we don't have a second round pick. There's guys even moving up the boards now.
  12. The Panthers next Clausen. You can even still call him pickles.
  13. We're going to end up with Pickett and Rhule now. Yuck.
  14. Well, there goes any hope for the 2022 season. I hope Pickett blows enough that we get a new coach and quarterback in 2023.
  15. Take Pickett off the board. However, Howell or Willis I would take a chance on.
  16. It's possible, but I have no faith of Tepper's team he's assembled. Realisticly if they just hit on a quarterback it would change the direction of the franchise, regardless of other pieces.
  17. Would definitely take him over Pickett.
  18. I would take Sam Howell or Malik Willis in the draft. The Panthers have to take a shot sometime. If it doesn't work out we'll probably be right back at the top of the draft next year anyway. You don't have to promise the franchise to a drafted quarterback. You can use the Cardinals as an example, or hell the 2010 Panthers after bottoming out with Clausen we didn't hesitate to draft Cam, even though quite a few commentators and fans felt it was more 'level headed' to stick with him. As for Kenny Pickett, I don't see it. I've watched several game cutups, and he doesn't look the part to me. Even in highlights I'm watching a guy hold onto the ball forever, just to throw a weak ball to wide open receiver. From what I've seen with Sam and Malik, especially Sam, they're doing more with a lot less. I'm not an evulator, but I had Teddy and Sam pegged after watching what I could find. It surprised me the front office didn't.
  19. I have no faith in anyone in this organization, including Scott Fitterer.
  20. I'm not arguing for Anderson to remain on the roster. I said he shouldn't have been extended, and he should be traded if possible. I'm not making anything up. D.J. Moore is having a regression. You're not looking at total yards for D.J. — including his rushing yards. The last several weeks have been trending down with Sam. His catch rate is falling. Earlier in the season he had consistently over 10 targets a game with production, but that's been falling dramatically with Sam's mental decline, and the offensive game plan changing to hide his ineptness. Sam is statistically the worst quarterback in the NFL.
