Can you explain how you enthusiastically endorsed Darnold, before and after the trade? He was a known loser, with horrible statistics, and didn't pass the eye test. So why do you dig so hard into Fields, but Sam fuging Darnold passed your eye test (as he couldn't have passed any measurable way)?

I would say no, it's not. If someone slips from the first round, and they're very talented, maybe take them in the second. Though generally I wouldn't take a running back in the first two rounds unless they're pushed down the board and clearly the best player available.

If Donte is out for the season, then the Panthers might be able to nearly lose out. As much as everyone here gives him hell, I've noticed without him the backend of the defense gives up a lot more yards.

I think Fitt's is or soon will be worse. Fitterer already overpays teams in expensive trades, and then he doubles down and extends their contracts. Actually, this last off-season he restructured several contracts, making room for Watson, then failed trying to trade for him ( thank god). We're in for one more giant clusterfug of an off-season where Fitter is going to feel pressured to get it right at quarterback and coach. And I think he's going to be making some huge trade offers for both.

Matt Rhule being a moronic control freak is what lead to that. He shouldn't have butted heads with Cam, then put the team and himself in dire need of a quarterback right before the draft. Either Cam turned it around, or the Panthers start to bottom out. That or they should have traded up for Herbert.

The Jets, Bengals, and now the Texans are better examples.

If they do that then it will be Wilks as the coach. I don't think anyone is coming here and staking their career on Corral.
