  1. Yep. It'll be worth scouting the second tier of tight ends this year. A very good chance the Panthers take one.
  2. I don't think Tepper is willing, not anymore. It's been too many years without a franchise quarterback.
  3. Yep. They never seem to workout when picked high for some reason. Always scout mid round tight ends.
  4. If the new coach doesn't want a quarterback, that only can mean the Panthers have signed Brady. Otherwise, it will mean we picked the wrong coach and we're in for another spin around loser circle, with maybe a short stop in mediocrity.
  5. Guys, there's a lot of quarterback needy teams this year. There's a good chance the Panthers will even get leapfrogged for Richardson. One of the reasons why I think Tepper is going to be balls to the wall aggressive, trading up with Chicago if possible. If this was two, or three, or four years back sure. Patience is key, it's usually what I advocate. I'm not the type of person that likes to trade up, or trade known players. However, I think there's a very good possibility the Panthers will make an offer to Chicago, which includes D.J. Moore.
  6. It's going to be tough. About half the teams in the league will be at least inquiring about that pick, with Tepper being the most aggressive.
  7. Just to be clear, I love D.J. Moore, and had his picture as my profile picture prior to the current. However, I just cannot think of a scenario where Carolina will make a deal with Chicago without giving him up.
  8. While true, we have D.J. Moore as our best asset that they will want. It's really the one card we have. Receivers are notoriously hard to draft. Chicago definitely knows it. They want one.
  9. It's always possible they fall in love with a quarterback this off-season, possible. It's just another game though. Fields doesn't look bad overall, and their fans really love him. They could jumpstart their rebuild with a big trade. They definitely aren't a player away from anything.
  10. Just going off what I've read from their fans, they do love Fields. They also have a top to bottom horrible roster, with a huge need for receiver. They've talked almost nonstop about trading for one this year and the eligible draft candidates. I think the Panthers are going to try their best to swap picks with D.J. heading to Chicago. It's really going to be expensive though.
  11. In conclusion, I would say this game at least provides the Panthers with the definite off-season player priority. Quarterback.
  12. They need a receiver is the problem. Their fans have been scouting receivers, in the draft and for trades for months.
  13. We'll see. It would be shocking if we make it to draft and there's not reports of offers from the Panthers. Chicago will almost certainly trade the pick. They need a lot to rebuild, and their fans love Fields.
  14. Supposedly Tepper wanted to trade up for Burrow. If that's the case then I imagine he'll try with Chicago.
  15. D.J. Moore will be apart of it. And that's really the only leverage we have vs other teams, unfortunately.
  16. Yeah, but they never stick around. I hope the 'real fans' actually stay this off-season instead of disappearing as usual. Though I understand it's hard to discuss anything that isn't chest thumping since that requires some knowledge of the sport, league, and a higher than room temperature IQ. It's hard to chest thump when you can't just poo-post after a single win and instead have to have real discussions that may or may not refer to the season record, and the fact the Panthers are a perennial losing franchise, coming off another losing season.
  17. Exactly, who gives a poo about a 7 win team with no coach, no quarterback? We're going to need to find a relevant coach and a massive trade to get this franchise restarted.
  18. They threw the game. It is what it is. Maybe the NFL will look into it, probably not.
  19. All 7 of them. What's the record of those teams we beat though?
  20. At least now I know the Saints are game tankers. We've all suspected it over the years with Payton, but now I feel like it's a franchise strategy for them.
  21. All this means is it's going to take more to trade with Chicago. It hurts, but whatever, it's going to take what it's going to take now.
