  1. Yep, I'll get to it eventually. I like trying evaluate players myself before reading too much into other's opinions.
  2. Yeah? What does that mean regarding fans evaluations of players?
  3. I haven't watched their breakdown yet, but I've watched all of his games that I can find, and it sounds like my same takeaway.
  4. Of course? Why wouldn't they? That doesn't mean anything. Lots of quarterbacks get mocked and selected very high with the same problems Levis has. We even traded for one of them.
  5. I don't really think that's it. His positives are his athleticism, arm, and scrambling. His biggest critics like the much more traditional, in other words boring, quarterbacking of Stroud.
  6. Fans would support him if he's selected, but it's not like you're going to gaslight them into ignoring their own eyes.
  7. That's like comparing Richardson to Cam, it's a fluff take.
  8. I think I've stated often how poorly I've rated Levis when it comes to movement in the pocket, vision, ect. I have him rated as the fourth quarterback.
  9. It's not really a bad game, but it's how he handles pressure in it. I'm really big on quarterbacks being comfortable standing tall, taking the hit to make a throw, or being able to calmly climb the pocket. This game he looked shaky at times, but overall it's not a 'bad' game. Maybe the last Panthers' Super Bowl is seared into my brain, the last Panthers' decade really, but I want to make sure if we trade up for a quarterback that they are completely comfortable with heavy pressure. Right now we have a good offensive line, but what happens when we don't? The Peach Bowl game tape is my xanax right now.
  10. I have to share this because I keep watching it. At this point I may be nitpicking as I'm watching the same games from each quarterback out of boredom. Though God I hope Stroud is the gamer from the Peach Bowl and not the kid from this game.
  11. I think I would rate Justin Fields the best quarterback in this class, possibly. If I completely discount Stroud's Peach Bowl game and knock Young for his size then Fields just all-round looks better coming out of college. Maybe I've watched Stroud's Maryland game from this year one too many times at this point, but he's starting to spook me with how poorly he adjusts to pressure.
  12. Yeah, I'm the one not getting it. You've totally not pivoted over and over again because you cannot accept some fans opinions.
  13. If you want to listen to Will Kunkel's farts into the wind, go for it. You're going to get a good variety of predictions that could mean anything and may even sometimes be true.
  14. That nebulous predictions can be both true and false, especially when stated in a speculative way? I understand, I just don't care for it. I'm not going to give brownie points, followers, to that type of reporting.
  15. It makes sense to get it done before free agency since it will directly affect free agent targets for both teams.
  16. I said it months ago, but I'm almost certain Tepper is done playing around. It's just the matter if Chicago says 'no' or not.
  17. Yeah, it's possible. All four of them have problems, and I wouldn't say any are a sure thing. Stroud and Young are the top two, and if it wasn't for the Peach Bowl I don't know if I would have rated Stroud as the second best. If we get Young, I hope the league protects him. If we get Stroud, I hope we get the play making Peach Bowl gamer that wasn't afraid to make plays instead of just making throws. If we get Richardson I hope he can learn to fix his lower body mechanics and get better overall making reads. If we end up with Levis I pray that I've been completely wrong about his vision and processing.
  18. The sad thing is it's entirely possible that Richardson isn't on the Panthers board or is a distant fourth. It's just ridiculous that some random reporter has the scoop this far out from draft when smoke, obscuration, and performative actions are taken daily to maximize a team's ability to get their top target(s).
  19. Okay, so this is about the random no name ALT account that predicted we were seriously interested in Carr, meanwhile everyone else was saying we were 'kicking the tires' or 'doing due diligence'. Anyway, back to Will Kunkel.
  20. I just don't think what's between his ears can be fixed. It's similar to Sam Darnold. He'll need an almost perfect team around him to make it in this league from what I've watched. I could be wrong, but it's just my opinion from what I've seen.
  21. Okay, what did you mean? People here are giving Kunkel poo for being a nobody that seems to make less than accurate predictions. How is Gil Bradnt, someone's who career in the NFL that spanned decades, analogous to him?
