  1. Makes sense if they really think he is HIM. Positional value isn't there anymore, but if they think he's blue chip, I get it.
  2. Okay, a lot of players I don't care about are left. I think the Panthers could trade back to the top of the third and still get a highly rated player at a position that's not coveted. Wilson, Cooper, Brooks, maybe a safety.
  3. I understand, but I just see a lot of value at 39 this year. It's why so many teams are trading up right now. Having said that, I can see what they're doing if they are targeting a position that isn't highly valued right now. Meaning running back, center, linebacker or safety. If so I get why they traded back.
  4. Normally, I would say take this trade. The value is there, but this year the board was too good. Just too many players available that I would have been happy with at 33(32) that fell.
  5. A David 'Money Balls' Tepper classic.
  6. Yeah, I get that feeling. Right or wrong. If they take one they better know he is him.
  7. All I'm saying is the last time we did this we ended up passing on a ton of talent to then select TMJ.
  8. I personally do not value a second round pick from next year that highly as you never know where it'll land and what the board will be. I feel like there were 3 guys available this year to help this team.
  9. This board was great for us. This is fuging painfully stupid. This is Tepper saving face for losing so many picks to get Bryce Young.
  10. This is dumb. I don't care about a second next year. This year we had a great pick with a great board available. fuging stupid.
  11. What in the fug did we get to go back so fuging far?
  12. I haven't heard someone talk like Xavier since I was a kid. His accent is too good to be a bust.
  13. Someone said this before, but Canales really does give off strong youth pastor vibes.
  14. I still think there's a decent chance JPJ falls to our next pick. There's been a lot of lineman already taken and we know there will be a receiver run at the start of the second.
  15. It just depends if he pans out or not. Having the 5th year option for a receiver is just smart. If the Panthers wanted a center, safety, or linebacker they would have stayed put.
  16. He big, he fast. Hopefully he continues to develop. The trade itself is obviously worth it if he pans out. Receivers are so expensive to resign.
  17. Yeah, and he has small arms and hands. He doesn't look great at anything from what I've watched of him. Here's the opinions of some fans from his ESPN draft grade.
  18. Personally, I don't like his lack of production, and his physical measurables.
  19. I hope he signs. The Panthers need an every down EDGE that can pressure the quarterback.
  20. It's fine, I didn't really like the signing. I would rather find younger guys that could develop.
  21. Great signing. We really needed more tackle depth and potentially a starter.
  22. I can't believe Fitterer bid against himself for Darnold. That was one of the worst self-fleece of all time.
  23. Yeah, he sucked, but damn they have to find someone to be the backup.
  24. They just shipped off their young quarterback. He may not be developed, but he's the only other quarterback on the roster. Russel Wilson is turning 36 this year.
