    I remember this past off-season people arguing with me non-stop about how the trades and acquisitions were going to make the run defense much better.

    To be honest, I just liked that he looked like he wanted to be out there playing football again. The first two weeks he seemed as if he didn't want to be on the field. Yesterday however, he was smiling and looked focused. When he ran for a first down and landed flat on his face, he sprung up smiling.

    Don't want him, and I have no idea how he was ever drafted in the first round, but I guess Gettleman was that stupid.

    Imagine if we take Cam Ward, he busts, and we have the first overall pick again to draft another quarterback. Other teams would hate us. We would be the villains of the NFL, taking everyone's favorite rookie and having them play under a Tepper owned team.

    Worst case scenario is Cam Ward busts and we're terrible. So, basically a neutral move.

    This is clearly a "Bryce is done in Carolina" move if I've ever seen one. Trading Diontae for a fourth or more (what he's worth at the least) would be acquiring assets as we're in a hard place. However, trading him for absolutely nothing of value while you have half a season left with a floundering rookie quarterback? Yeah, they're done with Bryce. If Diontae is healthy, and plays up to his potential, he's a number one receiver.

    I'm so salty. The one trade we made in years to acquire Diontae I was excited about and it paid off. Then we just completely erase it to do a favor for the Ravens?

    Yeah, this is a trash trade. This signals the Panthers want the first overall pick this year bad. Cam Ward?

    So, we basically lost our second-best cornerback to move up maybe 15 spots in the 6th round. Yikes. Diontae had number one potential and losing Donte Jackson definitely hasn't helped our defense.
