  1. Makes me wonder if they would have gone QB or OL in the first if they got him.
  2. What I mean is you can’t pull an O lineman off the street and expect him to play immediately. They need to fully understand the playbook, other linemen, etc. Those guys do way more than just pass pro.
  3. Oline is 1. Hard to get 2. Not plug-n-play.
  4. Fitt sees shades of that first Seahawks SB team. Young/cheap serviceable QB with a nasty defense. Take advantage now before the bills come due.
  5. Organizing Levi fitting parties?
  6. Seriously, what was Hurney doing with his time all those years?
  7. Let’s look at the jets too. I heard a jets fan say this today. The jets passed on Rhule because they insisted on appointing his coordinators (no snow), traded away Darnold, and Robbie, and passed on CMC for a guy who is no longer on the team. If they were a good org, they’d have our team right now.
  8. His prime window closes according to Father Time. A lot of touches doesn’t help, but his skill set is still going to diminish each year. Dont look for him to get another contract here.
  9. I’d love to go OL in the first and second. Or trade down and get 2-3 OL in the second.
  10. Breaking 3 bones without contact is crazy and not a great sign. Reminds me of Olsen at the end of his career.
  11. He’s been playing conservative. Like he doesn’t trust Darnold. Seeing signs that is ending so I’m hopeful.
  12. Confusing. I wonder if they were looking at college as well? I know those surfaces can be pretty bad. Here is another good source. https://www.brockusa.com/wp-portfolio/ajsm-nfl-higher-rates-of-lower-extremity-injury-on-synthetic-turf-compared-with-natural-turf-among-nfl-athletes-2019/ Ive heard these surfaces have changed a lot over the years. I can’t find any good info on the differences and injury rates though.
  13. If he misses significant time again, there are going to be some hard questions about his role and future on this team.
  14. This. He looks like a good first round pick. I wanted Fields, but I can’t imagine he would be playing as well as Sam is right now.
  15. it might be higher, but it’s nowhere near 70%. https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stat-analysis/2017/turf-type-and-nfl-injuries-part-i

  17. The American Journal of sports medicine did a 4 year study in this. Conclusion: The overall rate of injury on artificial turf was noninferior to that on natural grass. Within individual injury categories, a higher rate of ankle injury was found on artificial turf. No other injury subgroup demonstrated statistically significant differences between surfaces. https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/0363546519860522
  18. The Texans have all the momentum. They’ll score one more time. We’ll get one field goal. 13 - 10 Texans.
  19. This situation was bound to happen at some point. At least it’s with a team we might still be able to beat. let’s hope they learn from this.
  20. TD was on that 2015 team. Hard to argue with someone like that.
