Anyone we get in FA is going to be below average to bad. Teams don’t discard good OL. I’d rather have a talented rookie who will improve vs a Jag on the decline.

It’s not a bad idea. Find some highly motivated players for cheap. Stack picks and cap space. End up with a few diamonds in the rough when it’s over.

if they move on from Bryce, they can’t set a time table like that. If Ickey and the rest of the OL blow, then we need to spend first and 2nd round pick fixing that for the next few years. Same with WRs. Dont get a QB until you have some weapons and can protect him.

I don’t think they are going to try and lose on purpose. They will lose naturally.

Bro, giving him the best chance to succeed means 2-3 new/good linemen and a completely different WR corps. Thats not happening. He might get two of each, but they’ll be rookies or jags.

There’s expectations and then there’s reality. We don’t have the talent to compete. We need many drafts to restock the fridge.

Footwork matters but a lot of guys have good footwork and still suck. We need to see what he can do when the OL can hold up for 3 seconds and WRs can get open. We’re not going to see that next year.

It’s going to be very hard to evaluate him fully. The OL will be the same with maybe better receivers. He’s not going to get a serviceable team around him for another 3 years at least.

Palmer just cherry picked a few plays. Doesn’t prove anything. This staff and roster may be just as big of a dumpster fire as last year.
