If you’re going to risk your law license by supporting or soliciting a fabrication like this, you’re gonna make sure you can control your client(s). You can control or coordinate 1 or 2 people. But 20+? For this to be a big lie, Buzbee would have had to 1) Track down every woman that has proof of massaging Deshaun. Small group. 2) Approach all of them and hope they all agree to put their necks on the line to go along with the lie. If one woman says no and goes to the press (for a different payday) to reveal that they were asked to lie, it’s over. That’s a massive risk for the lawyers and women accusing Deshaun. IF the Texans or NFL is behind this in anyway, it’s far more likely that they dug up this dirt on him and decided to use it to set an example of him. It doesn’t mean he’s innocent though.

Like he has a choice now. Several of his accusers are submitting evidence and signed affidavits to the Houston district attorney on Monday. Buzzbee is requesting a criminal grand jury as well. This trade stuff is over.

I just finished watching Money Ball so this now seems like an amazing life changing signing.

Isn’t it interesting how so many people are claiming (with no evidence) that the team is behind this, but are like “I need to see evidence before I believe these 22 women”? Weird isn’t it?

Right, and that’s why I think these accusations prob have legs. Why was he seeing 9 different female massage therapists over the course of a year or so? Some weren’t even licensed. But I bet they were all attractive. The simplest explanation is usually right.

It’s dumb for someone like Deshaun to do this. With his money, he has a target on his back. Going into multiple women’s homes alone for a massage is asking for trouble. Do what Brady, Cam, every other nfl star does. Hire one person that meets you at your home or the team facility. It’s not hard.

Very possible, but it also doesn’t mean the allegations aren’t true. Maybe Cal/Texans heard about some of this stuff going on and decided to do their own investigation. Once they found some dirt, they handed it over to Buzzbee when the time was right. Anything is possible right now.

We’ll see, but it bothers me that Deshaun seems to be seeking out multiple random masseuses. Why do that? Why go into the private home of some random IG girl? Tom Brady has had the same masseuse for 59 years. Same with other big athletes. Also, I’m sure Houston has people on staff. To me, his actions are pretty suspect.

At the slow drip pace this is going, the next three suits are prob going to contain some pretty big allegations.

The plaintiffs want $500 each. They want him to admit he’s guilty. If he admits to this, it would be very hard for an org like the Panthers to bring him in given their history. If he doesn’t settle, this will stretch on for at least a year or so and we’ll have no choice but to move on with another QB. Thats all I’m saying.

I’m aware. The burden of proof is much lower. This means the truth will be extremely hard to come by and any team that employs Deshaun will have to live with this over their heads.

Sorry man, this franchise’s recent history (see Richardson) makes this an impossible trade. Unless these 6 women are proven to be lying, there is no way Tepper can bring him in as the face of the franchise.

Yeah, but those women in the DMs spell D.R.A.M.A. I can see why turning to pros is seen as a way to avoid that mess.

It’s extremely suspicious on multiple levels. But the fact remains. Who would trade for him right now and take on that PR disaster? It’s over.
