What’s the point? Fans don’t attend.

That’s a good ‘glass half full’ way to look at it.

Unlike last week, they’ve been doing a lot of 11 on 11. I’d love to know how he’s doing there.
-
So our brand new QB can check down? Nothing else stands out?
-
I think Grier has ‘moved on’ mentally. He prob isn’t fully accepting it yet, but his comments the other week tell me he knows he’s not going to make it at this level.

Ah...I thought they blurred it blurred it. -

This is stupid. They had no issue naming a bunch of players they were thinking about taking. Why would they blur out a name unless they thought it would stir up some poo? The name was Fields and they are just covering their butts in case Fields outplays Sam. -
Former NFL LB makes Bold Statement on Panthers Defense

I don’t know if we’re top 10 yet. Still a good bit of inexperience there. Next year though, we better be or Snow needs to go. -

That surprised me too. He wasn’t on their list of first round options. No QBs were. -
Ron "learning from his mistakes" in Carolina
Tbe replied to ladypanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
You definitely have to re-evaluate the HC after 5 years. Keeping him depends on the circumstances (was there a rebuild, what has the qb situation been, drafting outcomes, etc). Ron was one of those borderline guys. He did great things, but no back to back wining seasons was a huge red flag after year 5. Especially with the rosters he had. I think Rhule will get 7 years. -

Ron "learning from his mistakes" in Carolina

The 5 year thing has to do with the HC + QB combo. -
Cam is my fav player in panthers history, but his time was up. Arguably the best coach in nfl history just drafted Mac Jones to replace him. Mac Jones.

Ron "learning from his mistakes" in Carolina

Curtis Samuel was a huge waste of a pick. So much talent that Ron only wanted to pull out for special occasions. If anything, he should have learned for Bradberry. He had no choice to play and dev that kid and look what happened. Does anyone really think James would have ever seen playing time if DG gave him a vet on that roster in 2016? -
Listening to him I think he would make an amazing offensive coordinator. Yes, offense. He said he’d love to do it.

You said this would make us feel better. Why would answering this question make us feel better?
-
That was great. That’s prob more content on him than we’ll get out of training camp.

There prob isn’t enough independent evidence to prosecute. Houston PD has looked at this and it sounds like they don’t have what they need to arrest Watson. Pretty common in cases like this.
-
Maybe they just want Watson to acknowledge what he did and this settlement includes that.
-
Yikes - Rock Hill. “According to my sources, Rock Hill is “over-leveraged” and simply unable to issue this debt – at least not without having to settle for junk bond rates. In fact, even after the total obligation for the project was reportedly cut nearly in half – to $135 million – the city still couldn’t get the financing for the bonds at a competitive rate.” Sounds like the state or county will have to step in to make good on their end of the deal. Why agree to this if you’re already up to your neck in debt? I know...stupid question.
-
It sounds like you’re made up your mind based on what you’re posting. He definitely is struggling. It’s obvious, but who in his position wouldn’t be? I personally like what he’s doing here, but I expect him to struggle for a while. The Darnold thing will probably bite him in the ass, but I recognize he didn’t have a ton of options.
-
You’ve already made up your mind on a guy who just coached his first nfl season (with pandemic conditions)? Give the guy some time.

Sounds like a fair and very specific critique. Out staff was 99% new to the NFL. Of course they don’t do a lot of things well. They’ll learn. They still did better than 7 other veteran staffs.
