  1. I think everyone here is overestimating the abilities of our D-line, and LB Corp. We have some good starters on the D-line, but not much depth. Particularly in the interior. LBs are looking rough. The first few games will tell us how well our run defense is. I think it is going to be average. O line is an obvious problem. So is QB. 7-8 wins sounds about right.
  2. From what I hear it had more to do with the Panthers PR dept wanting to be the sole source of news. All well and good, but they need to actually product content if they’re going to do that. It seems like Voth and team have just been tweeting a handful of times per practice. They all seem to tweet roughly the same thing too.
  3. The LB Corp is still a problem. Teams might be able to run on us.
  4. Eh...that was pass pro drill. Williams kept him away from the QB. That’s why everyone cheered, Donald look frustrated, and why the coach gave Williams a pat on the back at the end.
  5. Didn’t he have a bout with cancer after leaving the panthers? He’s on this board. Forgot his username.
  6. Play him as long as the starting OL is in there.
  7. FYI...there are currently 10 criminal complaints against Watson. 8 of those women are also suing him.
  8. I’m willing to bet that to the guy who paid, $120k is like $20 to the rest of us
  9. Based on recent comments from Buzbee, it sounds like some of the women want an admission from him as part of a settlement. Doesn’t sound like he’s going to do that so I expect this will go to trial.
  10. I don’t know that. You don’t either. You just have feelings based on limited information. We’ll see what happens.
  11. Watson isn’t set to be deposed in the civil cases until late Feb. There could very easily be multiple civil trials AND a criminal trial in his future next year. Teams are not going to trade for him this year.
  12. per NBC sports.. Contrary to a report that trade talks between the Eagles and Texans regarding a potential Watson deal are “heating up,” a source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT that they are not. The problem at this point is the looming possibility of prosecution. As previously mentioned, Watson’s camp believes that the evidence against him inevitably will be presented to a grand jury. If he’s indicted on felony charges, the NFL undoubtedly will place him on paid leave until the case is resolved. Until then, it’s possible he’ll be convicted and then incarcerated. “Teams have to wait to make sure jail isn’t a possibility,” one source explained.
  13. I feel like any ‘desert pizza’ I’d get at a pizza inn would give me a burning rash.
  14. Gross. No wonder that place had a low sanitation score.
  15. This is NOT a top 10 D. Our LBs suck and our only good corner is a rookie. We’re on the way up though.
  16. Watson dragged that org through the mud for months before dunking it in a tank of poo with his legal issues. Why would they still want him? The only ‘winning’ options left is to move on ASAP and put this crap behind them.
  17. At some point they’ll have to make a deal or keep him. The bridge has been burned to the ground, so they have to let him go. Teams know this. The Texans arent going to get what they want for him.
  18. Yep, happens all the time. The eagles will end up getting a 2nd round pick because Wentz got hurt and will miss significant playing time. Any deal for Watson will include contingency picks. The more time he misses, the lower the compensation.
  19. Same. I only hear Jackson’s name when he’s being torched.
  20. Rhule is in charge, and I just can’t see him wanting Watson and his baggage.
  21. And deservedly so. I really wanted him.
  22. Wait, that was Rhule who got pancaked? Didnt know he played for the Chiefs last year.
