  1. It’s hard to know what to think. Some of it might be that this team is still very young and learning how to win for the first time. Two years of Rhule certainly didnt help them. They won in Seattle, fell back on bad habits and got stomped by the Steelers, prepped hard again and got a win.
  2. I fear Tepper will go with a ‘safe’ option to avoid another embarrassment.
  3. It was bankruptcy court. They ‘sued’ to have a claim in the bankruptcy. “YORK COUNTY, S.C. — A federal judge approved a bankruptcy settlement of about $100 million Friday All sides agreed to drop their current lawsuits and not file any other claims as part of the deal approved Friday by federal bankruptcy court Judge Karen Owens.“ The settlement was in regards to who will get paid from the available funds. The bankruptcy is now over and all civil suits are dropped.
  4. There’s no liability in bankruptcy court. Think divorce court for businesses. No guilt, innocence, etc. Just who gets the dog, house, etc.
  5. These were bankruptcy proceedings. Just deciding who’s debts get paid etc. Not lawsuits where damages were awarded.
  6. 20 million to RH 21 million to York Co 60 million to contractors
  7. Of course leadership is important, but (again) the OP said leadership and relationship building was all a NFL HC does. He said X and Os are not a HC’s job. We want both but it’s ridiculous to say X and Os are not a huge part of the job.
  8. Not talking about O vs D. The OP made the claim that nfl HC’s are just ‘relationship guys’. Nothing could be further from the truth. The best HC’s know the game and are front and center when it comes to crafting strategies to win each game. McVay is an example of a HC that goes far beyond just strategy. There’s a reason NFL owners go for the Belechick disciples, the guy down in Miami, etc. Its not for theirs interpersonal skills. They want a guy who can give the team an advantage in the X and O’s.
  9. How many Super Bowls have they been to in the past 5 years? Just sayin.
  10. Yeah, McVay was literally dissecting defenses for his QBs and telling them where to go with the ball pre-snap. He was doing everything but throwing the ball. A well know saying goes like this. College is about Jimmy and Joe’s. Pro is about X’s and O’s. Sean Payton recently talked about how much time he spent watching film and working on game plans every week.
  11. He said in an interview last year that he would love to be an OC.
  12. Too late. Those tickets were sold weeks ago.
  13. I don’t know about that. His record so far isn’t amazing. He’s just been better than Matt Rhule. Not a huge accomplishment.
  14. Wilks seems to adjust after the half when he needs to and he’s willing to play rookies. Other than that, he is the same but Ron was a good coach.
  15. Most games are decided by a score or less. Regardless, I think Wilks is playing how he HAS TO play. The run game is our strength. We don’t have the QB or WR talent for a pass heavy offense.
  16. Or another OL. Another 1st round OL and this team could run on anyone.
  17. I think it made a comeback today.
  18. Im withholding my final judgement until I see more games with Darnold playing decently well, but another OL and top WR might be a better move right now if we can’t get a top QB prospect.
  19. Is his jersey folded a bit in the middle?
  20. I’m not a Darnold fan, but these WRs and plays aren’t helping him.
  21. They’re not playing with as much intensity as Seattle. They’re soft.
  22. Entering the chat for the first time today… Crazy how much more intensity the sea chickens play with vs how we play. Also….is Burns playing today?
  23. He’s intriguing, but would be a guy that won’t really play until his 3rd year. He just needs a lot of work. I don’t know if Tep and the fans are that patient.
