    Purdy never would have made a Panther’s roster because of the mindset our coaches and front office have. I love elite physical traits as much as the next guy, but there are other ways to win.

    I’m probably in the minority here, but I think he can be just as good as Purdy. He just needs a better system and a better cast around him.

    I don’t think it matters much who is calling plays. Brown wrote the playbook. This is his system too. Remember, Brown was coaching RBs the past few years. This is his first go at OC in the NFL. IMO, Brown will be the first to get the boot. Frank will get another year with the ultimatum to find a better OC with a better offensive plan.

    What I hear is a guy who is desperate to win now and is pressuring his GM and coaches to do that. That will 100% influence the roster building strategy those guys employ. Probably influencing play calling as well. instead of being patient and building the team the right way, these guys are making Hail Mary trades and signing high risk / high reward FAs.
