Thought this was interesting to watch. No commentary.

To me it sounds like Scarnecchia could draft OL well.

Peterson called plays. Franks 2020 Colts were good, but that was Sirianni’s last year as OC before the eagles. It was downhill from there for Frank.

I’ll take Slowik as HC with Evero as DC please.

It’s mostly not being able to get WRs open quickly which results in more sacks and pressures.

Frank in Indy also took the best performing and highest paid OL, and turned it into a mediocre unit.

Kurt Warner's Breakdown of BY(P.U) during the Bears Game
Tbe replied to SaltAndPepper's topic in Carolina Panthers
This was obviously known by the coaches, but I remember one of them saying they wanted to keep what worked for him at bama. Not to put too much in his plate at first. This toe bounce to see over the line was what they were primarily talking about. -
Frank is giving his usual presser right now.

1000% agree. The new GM and coach need to both be told they have 3 years to produce a winning record. That way they are both working together toward the same goal and not playing politics. Bryce should get 2 more years as long as he shows progress. We won’t have a team to put around a new rookie for AT LEAST another 2 years anyway. I like our defense. We need OL and offensive weapons. AND innovative coaching. Bryce has limitations and strengths, and we need to work with those.
-
The WR and OL would play better with a better scheme. Those guys aren’t burners, but they could do better. Our scheme just does nothing to help them get open. It’s nuts how easy we are to defend. Bryce will get at least two more years. the 2026 draft may be a new QB if he doesn’t work out.

I’m not totally excusing Fitt, but it’s clear to me most of his moves were heavily influenced by the coaches and Tepper. Hes just doing what the guys around him want him to do. Maybe he is a good talent evaluator. Who knows. BUT, we need someone who will stand up to Tepper and build a team correctly.

I don’t know. Rhule inherited a team that came from real NFL coaching and still sort of knew what it took to win. Frank had to deal with 3 years of college coaching and poor drafting. Either way they both suck.

Is it ego or ignorance?

The bears were in man coverage the entire game. Something they haven’t done all season. Their safeties were all playing close to the LOS. Teams have zero respect for our WRs. QBs need to make plays for sure and he’s making rookie mistakes, but in our case there are no plays to make most of the time.
-
Tepper would need the approval of the other owners to do that. No way the NFL does that. Charlotte is the 6th fastest growing city in the US. Raleigh is #1. Charlotte is the 15th largest metro area in the US. NC is a top 10 population state. Tepper can’t move the Panthers and Charlotte FC also. Long story short, he’s stuck.

No, you’re right. This is all it is.

Sam Howell has 12 INTs so far this season. How many of those are pick 6s?

I don’t think Frank was hired to implement a stale, 1999 offense with zero creativity. We play the same personnel group 95% of the time. We have almost no pre snap motion. Frank was in on the decisions to get rid of Moore and Forman. Fitt deserves blame here, but Frank was here for all of these decisions. Frank also promised to build around what our players do best. He lied. Instead, he implemented the exact same offense he got fired for in SD and Indy.
