Watched the vid again. TD says he’s ‘looking forward to the opportunity’.

I thought this was an interesting exchange. TD thanks Canales for ‘the opportunity’. He asks Canales to let him know if he can send him anything to help him and Canales says “mindset, mentality, you know what I mean?”. He says it as if he’s already asked TD to prepare something for him. Probably a very small thing, but it’s nice if TD is getting involved to get these players on track.

I don’t know this obviously, but they may have been told to not talk about current players. They didn’t mention anyone on the roster. If Dan shares their view of team culture, I think we’re about to see Dan bring in a lot of older vets from winning teams.

He’s inexperienced and it will show. He’ll need some time.

Considering what Canales did in Seattle and TB, it will be impossible to ignore reality of Canales can’t turn Bryce into something.

I hope Dan laid out just how depleted this roster is and how long it will take to fix. It’s very likely BY looks better next year. That will buy everyone another year at the very least. This group is here as long as BY is here.

I hope this is true. It also could be the other owners told him to disappear for a while after that drink incident.

I’ve gotten the sense the past few years that Burns is a bit of a cancer. He’s not leading in the right direction.

Do you guys not remember the pre season games? The team was sleepwalking and looked poorly coached. Zero energy. Even the guys fighting for a roster spot. Whatever was wrong, it was wrong before the season began.

Brady will bring ratings due to novelty. I can’t see him doing this year in and year out though.

He was passed over for the HC job so I expect him to go.

And Campen and Tabor were Rhule holdovers. Tepper asked Frank to keep them on. They had no reason to be loyal to the other guys. I bet the snitching started during Rhule’s time.

Dan Morgan - sounds good to me!

It looks like the HC hire is all Morgan. If so, we need this staff to work out. If it does, Tepper will have learned the correct lesson. If it doesn’t, he’s going to go back to what he was doing.….if he has actually gone more hands off.

I’m willing to bet Tepper doesn’t speak…if he even shows up.

This sounds like Dave said, I’ll do my best with BY, but you need to give me time to pivot if he doesn’t work out.
