    We had the worst defense of all time last year. The team is thin everywhere. We didn’t have a pick to waste on a bench QB. Maybe a 2 years.

    I think so. That is supposedly why we matched up this year. Both coaches wanted to play starters.

    He was just slightly slow on his turn. He looked great otherwise. These two are going to be a duo.

    Objectively, Shedaur playing is the most interesting thing happening in any pre-season game minus Cam Ward.

    The odds of AT and Renfro both staying healthy all season is low. Keep both. We’ll need them.

    And we need our LT to improve in pass pro. C or RT in the 2nd next year.

    Starting to wonder how much playing time Adam will see this year.

    Horn can make it. Baring injury, the WR room is most likely Thielen, XL, TMac, Coker, Renfro, Horn, and maybe David Moore at #7. Renfro is a lock at this point.

    Probably some guys not on the roster yet.

    We might be better up front (and that’s a big maybe), but the rest of the defense is basically the same.

    Tillis will probably end up being another Brandon Beane. Some other team gets ‘the guy’ while we are left with scraps.

    The offense is in a good spot, but that D is still atrocious. A lot of guys have to have the best year of their careers for it to be an average NFL defense.

    That sounds a lot like our story though. We picked up a 1st round WR and a lot of hopes and prayers. We need some miracles for this D to be significantly better.

    Worley was just terrible. And terrible from day one. The Titans picked #1 for a reason.

    Yeah, it’s a bad defense with an unproven offense with potential. Not the same thing at all.

    Nothing is scarier than having a Trevor Laurence.

    How often does Rich bring up Shedeur?

    That is really optimistic with this crew. Injuries will happen and there isn’t enough depth.

    He’s going to get pushed around. At least for this year.

    Our defense still sucks. 6 wins.

    The man only has a few more years of decent health left. It’s a big drop the closer you get to 80. Let him enjoy some tail while he still can. most of us would do the same thing.

    2 years without playing. He won’t be the same guy when he gets back.

    It will be two hours of David Tepper, David Newton, Joe Person, and Matt Rhule reading through the schedule and swapping old man stories.

    Hopefully this is just the coaching staff being cautious and keeping him out of camp. Doesnt sound great though.
