Lowest Catchable Ball Rate - Mingo made the list
Waldo replied to Varking's topic in Carolina Panthers
I wonder how the correlates with how deep the passes were thrown -
I completely respect that. Good for him. I like the balance the draft order brings to the league but some teams need the pressure of talent walking away from them to open their eyes of how poorly they are run. The Bears could have the top 2 picks in the draft but that isn't somewhere a QB is likely to have success regardless of tallent. The list looks mighty small for sure but that's his challenge. I'm kind of interested to see how that plays out. I have no problem with a prospect acting like a professional and caring about their careers. I wouldn't want to waste 4 to 5 years of my career working a dead end job regardless of pay if I could avoid it. Make teams earn some of it too because some of them need a slap for how they run their teams.

Nicole stuff I get putting her in the charity roll. That is more usual. 'Why is there such a stark difference between the in-depth dive of Frank Reich compared to the knee-jerk hiring of Matt Rhule? Many attributed the decision to Tepper's growth as an owner, noting he had learned from his previous mistakes. However, few have pointed out that Mrs. Tepper was a big part of this search. Buck Fitty (General Manager Scott Fitter) even credited Mrs. Tepper for her role in the coaching search. What struck me most about the comment is how it didn’t sound forced. It was authentic. He didn’t seem to be just sucking up to the owners, but he appeared to mean it. Was Mrs. Tepper the difference in the hiring process that the Panthers needed? At the very least, her insight lent to assembling the most accomplished coaching staff in team history. ' HAHAHAHAHAHA -

There are 2 owners now and plenty to go around. -

Ohh if Tepper was a woman and she was a man it would be worse because I wouldn't feel like I have to hold back. Part of me applauds her. Get your money and choose your work. But not when she is doing Panthers stuff. -

There are lines I won't cross and I am always a little crude. This is harsh but my beef is she has zero background in anything, literally popped out of the air on Teppers arm and is in the room while they are making terrible mistakes accross the board. This was her first year being 'the Teppers' right? It is ugly but it also looks true. I 100% can respect not joining in or wanting to go down that road but it's a huge issue. Gayle Binson had a design business. Kim Pegula was a professional since 1991. It's odd and with her in a position of power in the organization it's an open target. Like I said, there are places I won't go but everything I said was true. If I didn't have to imagine where she came from then I wouldn't have. None of it was good so trust me when I say I left a lot out plenty. Bad taste? Yes and a little lashing out but also not untrue unless they roll out a big reveal and makeover for here and like I said that is something they should have done upfront before she is ownering. -
They had a playoff team before and after Lance, had playable QBs the entire time and lucked into Purdy. CMC is just a cheap cherry on top for them. They get to laugh about blowing a wad on a bust while feeling no real pain for it and they will be in the playoffs again this year.

Prove it's not true. She is a human that didn't exist before she dated Tepper. I'm not even sure she is human. I don't think you can be misogynist to an object? -
1. I wish 2. WTF is up with that name 3. That was it

The people in charge thought they were a QB away and dug this hole. I wouldn't expect them to start making good decisions when the pressure is turned up. -
They are probably still laughing

Nope. It's getting in that direction with coaches and players but not yet. Hell no the the first part. You want the players to go back to practicing in a hotel ballroom when it rains? And that was the good stuff that was bad. -

There is so much in the air from every direction that it's palpable. All they had to do was create a low key lie yet they went with 'that doesn't look right'. She is in her 50s or 60s and she has never had the internet or went outside? I keep wondering where he bought her or has he had her stashed away for a couple of decades as his sidepiece? I wish we would get a chance to see anyone not employed by the Panthers interview her. -

No meaningful work history at all anywhere and what looks like a cleared public history that couldn't have been much anyways. Completely qualified to work anywhere inside that organization lol -
That's even worse for the trade value then.
-
The team also let it get to the point where CMC asked for a trade which killed some leverage so the picks were themselves very underwhelming well before they wasted those picks.
-
Hurney gave CMC a bad contract and Rhule couldn't use him and to make it worse was running him into the ground trying to hide his problems behind CMC. It stinks but the causality of proplems come in from every direction. Fritterer just got very little in return. Trading Moore sure does look incredibly stupid tho. No way to downplay that one.
-
That's what i am expecting also. People were calling for Chase and I couldn't figure out how they could pay for that and if he would even allow that to happen. Like why would he want to? He could just ask for another trade and tell both teams to kiss his booty. It's going to be a Fritterer type move so lowering your expectations is probably good mental healthcare.

They are makibg another 'Bryce is our franchise QB' push and they 'are all in' again. They will get a WR and it still won't fix their past mistakes. Regardless of what camp your in, this is a doubling down type move and it's coming from a pack of people that don't win jack. I just don't see it as anything different than the first PR push and I expect it will go even worse than the first try. It was all so poorly done and now they are doing more of that. Yay
