The only good thing he has brought to the table is his willingness to burn money to make money. It hasn't come close to being nearly enough but it's his 1 positive that I can think up. It hasn't fixed anything yet and just makes the failures that much worse so far.

If that was the case then keep Bozeman in a run 1st scheme for another year and at least be ready to move Ickey inside to LG. Spending that money at OG and moving an OG coming off of a knee injury to C told me all I needed to know about this build and that was before the run heavy this year comments. That line looks like it was built and managed by a blind person who just asked who the most expensive OGs were in the free agency.

Same mess with some new people added to the pile. Even the excuse levels are already at a comedic level.

It's a quarter of preseason, game 1 in the new format, football. This is such a bad look from every angle if Bryce is healthy. Bryce being durable is his only positive trait on the NFL field to date anyways. The pre-season is just about to kick off for them and they are already a clown show. WTF has really changed since last year? They are going to run the ball so much more in the season but can't for quarter? Clown show must go on I guess.

Meh he took the job, I'mpersonally done feeling sorry for these guys. I would have respected him a lot more if he brought in a QB 2 that fits his system and at least a hint of competition. He is a very green coach. The oline still being a mess after the money they spent and the choices they made is not a great start. Since Tepper got here the whole 'it's not fair because they are not getting their shot' has turned out every time they should never have got that extra shot. This looks no different. Neither hire was the best option but more of they took the job and helped drag the last mess into the new mess they are making. One and done again is looking like a better option, especially after the offseason these 2 have dumped onto the team.

If Young goes out and gets hurt after spending 150 million on OGs then they hired the wrong guys...again. It's beyond conservative. It reeks for more dysfunction. He is a #1 pick in his second year so handing off the ball and some quick passes should be attainable. The only legitimate out is if Young is also hurt...not that having both your QBs banged up in preseason screams of competency but at least it would make sense. Either way that joint practice is coming and the Jets were more than happy to prove they weren't the worst team anymore last year and I don't see that changing this year. It sure looks like it's still a clown show again.

It was always Stroud. Richardson was a solid swing without the trade but not with it. Young didn't look like a 1st rounder...just like the WR they took this year.

Not really a surprise, just also not an easy sell given the recent history and the fact that other WRs are already showing they can make an impact now and not some time maybe in the future seasons. The second part I agree with but then why did they choose to pair him with Legette who is obviously not a technician? I have no idea if Legette will reach his potential but that's how projects go, there is physical talent to be hopeful about. He doesn't pair well with Young in my eyes and Mingo looks like he might be the better project anyways. When a 2 win team takes 2 projects to open their draft it shouldn't come as a surprise that they are getting criticized.

First 2 picks are projects on a team in desperate need of any talent on the field. Not a good sign from the decision makers. That's how they don't get a chance to stick around long enough to see the projects develop anyways. Especially when the guys they could have taken are...just like last year.

I still can't belive the team dumped DJ Moore and still hasn't come close to a serious replacement since. For real. I don't think the Diontae hype translates into reality here. Being the best WR on the Panthers hasn't ment squat since Moore was shopped off.
