  1. I'm not sure Fitt isn't his Hurney yet. Heat? Sure. Actual danger? I'm not sure that is as close as you and I hope. If Frank takes back playcalling and it's more of the same then we get to see what Tepper really does. I agree with you what he should do but it's now the Teppers so I just have no clue what they could come up with to surprise us all.
  2. Yeah as crap as it is here Stroud could still hit some of the shots that have been missed. It's bad here but if you think that is the same as the bad it would be with Stroud then you have a lot more disappointment coming over the rest of this and next season.
  3. Phins game again. They sleep the first quarter, roll for 2 and then prevent time in the 4th. This team isn't good enough to pull off a trap game. The other team just has to play 2 decent quarters and it's an easy win for them.
  4. At least half of this board could run the team better than the Teppers. Looking like all of the actual ownership already does in the NFL.
  5. The team is run by 2 people who have no idea what they are doing or how the NFL even works and the rest are just going along with it. Take a crap job and that is on you. I don't feel for any of them and I hope they have a misrable time choking on their choices going forward.
  6. It's not to me. Nothing at that level ever came close to the NFL and my freshman year my school took the championship. Hell buying teams is closer to the NFL. It is as different to me as high school is to the NCAA. I like the way it's going with the NIL but I still can't watch much of it.
  7. I get it's happening but I can't make myself believe it's going to be good given the recent history.
  8. Can't do college ball myself. Too sloppy and just not high enough quality for me. I get the entertainment side but i only liked it when I was still in college.
  9. Not when they are being brought into save the idiots from themselves. If this was a functional and just mediocre team I would absolutely agree. In this case it's comical to me.
  10. They will end up with a cast off which is what they deserve given the situation, hell that is what Frank was. Given the FO shortcomings, the level of talent , the changes needed to the roster to build what they are talking about and the way the team is run coaching wise it's going to be another mess. And that isn't even taking into account for the Teppers input. I hope it's at least entertaining so hire anyone named so far and I'm not sure what really changes big picture. Even doing a great HC hire, lol I know, and it's the same owner and FO so how would that really ever succeed?
  11. Rock bottom meet endless stupidity. IDK why anyone but the coaches can help at this point. Maybe ask Fitt and Morgan to bring in a body at LG? The Teppers need to find a new hobby other than ruining football in the Carolinas.
  12. They already did the draft noise now it's 'how do they fix this' noise because they know there is absolutely a year 2 in this situation. Blah blah blah. Good to hear that it now sure looks like everyone including Bryce narrative vs everyone else but that still doesn't solve the unwatchable football.
  13. I saw a decline the last few years under JR, I think 2017 was when I noticed. Just seemed like they cheapened the entire process a smidge, some of the food options disappeared completely. I thought he was priming it to sale or just took his foot off the gas as the owner at his age. It really has been a nose dive on and off the field since then. I went for 1 game last year and none of it was worth more than $50 total. It felt like a shell of what it used to be. It made the wine and cheese crowd days seem like a step up and that's beyond sad.
  14. What was the question he answered?
  15. Their answer was to run RPOs. I eagerly await those results. /s No over the top ability and shotgun & pistol only equals a really hard time run successfully, even if the oline wasn't having a huge regression.
  16. The entire narrative was Sirianni was the issue in regards to Frank failing in Indy. He is also 29th and 30th this year. So it looks like last year wasn't a fluke before he got fired. The oline regression is a huge deal. I had no idea it happened in Indy too.
  17. Fitt isn't even on the hot seat and there is talk about O'Brian saving Bryce. The end is no where in sight yet. It's still set at denial and desperation which is a dangerous combination.
  18. You are correct. I got that wrong. I completely forgot his year with Harbaugh. That and Kaepernick only played in 3 games his entire rookie year.
  19. Alex Smith - -. He had more arm and legs but pretty much. Same deal, drafted too high and had to go elsewhere because there was too much egg on too many faces to make what could work a thing. Edit: was wrong. They made it work there like the Cheifs.
  20. You have the eye for it and take a lot of crap from other posters for saying it. This QB draft cycle was like listening to old baseball people talk about fat girfriends and stuff. The best QB had more people talking about his freaking schools' QB history vs his actual transition into the NFL.
  21. Yeah even when Fitt gets fired what kind of replacement are the Teppers going to bring in to replace him? Until things change dramatically it's best to just accept it would be more of the same. I don't like it but that's what this is and it needs to be added into all talk of the future until things change.
  22. You can tell all the way back on his school tape. People who watch too much college ball tend to blur the lines but if all you watch is the NFL then it stands out. There is a QB lighting it up in DC while under terrible pressure and there is a QB in Texas doing the same with a limited roster. Coaching may be the only legit thing there but again, his limitations are also visible. Could he go to Miami and put up stats? Probibly, not as much as Tua, but both are a liability when facing good or better teams so it really doesn't matter once they get into the playoffs. All that talent and stats yet no one is saying Miami will take the SB.
  23. Yeah it's looking like very good is a pipe dream for him in the NFL. Serviceable is a conversation worth having and that looks like his ceiling and that takes ton of roster changes to even hit that. He will be a bust for what they spent on him and what they missed out on by picking him but even busts can go on to be serviceable and that is what this entire situation looks like.
  24. Quick passing game vs bibble screens and RPOs? That's not BB's quick passing game. I wish they had that competency but what they are talking about is something much less than what you are talking about.
