  1. No one is being developed and if they could then they should focus on someone with NFL level tallent. They are already setting themselves up for their next failure. Reich is going to get fired at least at the end of the year, they bring in someone else to do the impossible and then try again in 24 with even less of a fieldable team. Hell I bet Fittz stays as the Teppers' inside man lol. Edit: now poo is going to really go sideways. LOL
  2. I have even given up on players improving. Just expect wasted talent when there was any in the first place.
  3. Just wait until year 2 of this build and whatever moves they make to prop up their past mistakes in the offseason. Or 2024 when all of those PSL holders walk from those obligations. It's going to get so much worse and Tepper deserves all of it.
  4. A bust LT blocking for a bust QB. It's actually funny that this is what Tepper built, endless busts.
  5. He needs to stop picking employees and players. Until then Fug him.
  6. He thought he signed a franchise QB in TB and then again from the SD trade. Tepper has been doing ill advised moves for a 'franchise QB' since his 2nd year of ownership. I just think Cam coming back was a low hanging fruit for him and allowed the people in charge to look a little better while selling seats after they missed so hard on SD and that 5th year option.
  7. That was after they signed TB in that akward time before they released him late? I don't remember hearing anything before that move. I swear it's like i am subconsciously blocking my NFL memories. I guess that is my coping mechinism.
  8. I fixed it. I forgot that and had to look it up. Would he have played on it tho? Weren't they saying he was considering not playing or was that the team's reasoning?
  9. He wanted a mega contract which was the tipping point to just moving on vs going another year knowing the odds of it working out were poor. That was his stance and the clubs but I never heard a real number from Cam's side or if a one year prove it deal would work for his side. If not then Teddy was the painful best call IMO. I loved Cam but that injury was his career's turning point. 3 year contract means 2 to 3 years for TB but they actually pushed blame off on him and he was aweful to watch with a coaching staff that knew so little about the NFL. It's just so much fail.
  10. Either GM would be a best case. Not impressed with the coaches. The sharks circling thing about the job position makes me think the Teppers are about to make another big mistake. They just look like easy and very large targets who are desperate.
  11. You laugh but they are going to build an NC Alabama team and show you all how to win a National Championship game
  12. Has anyone had any luck selling their PSLs? I have had mine up for really cheap and was thinking of making them like $1 to get rid of them before next season. Are the ticket resellers still willing to pay the transfer fees to get these things or are they just dead weight until they run out?
  13. This was all decided before the season started and I would guess that Frank signed on to what he pitched which is his same old scheme which is what we all see. They just chose a QB so limited that it compounds those known issues and what you see is a worst case scenario. He had a broken Matt Ryan and still had 3 wins before he was fired last year. He just came to a bad team that just made a really bad QB situation while not having any real ability to adapt from his thing anyways. It really is incredible how bad all of this went for them, from conception to any luck. It's almost all fail.
  14. The moves since Tepper bought the team is sub respectable Huddle any way you look at it. 1-9, no #1 pick, not much good in the coaching staff, not much good in the front office, busting QB, little talent on the roster and a completedisconecr in the roster building to coaches scheme. That sounds a lot like the worst of the Huddle to me.
  15. There is no safer choice. Moton isn't a LT in their scheme either, there is film of Moton at LT and it wasn't good. BC was the best bet and I'm still not convinced he isn't just a backup OT. If you were Moton would you want to make that switch after watching weeks of film about what goes on over on that side? I wouldn't. Might as well change the blocking scheme because it actually has a chance to succeed.
  16. I literally can't sit through either now. It's been 20 years since I could sit through a college game.
  17. That's what I don't get. People find it more entertaining while watching some busted talent be overblow? I just don't get that myself. The college level is almost all bad football so why is it so entertaining to people?
  18. The stuff he does, like kiss the owners' ass and manipulate the situation to avoid blame, is the stuff that keeps his job that fans don't see. Putting up with and effectively dealing with ownership is really the #1 job requirement and it has nothing to do with football. As long as that is the case then you're never going to get the best football candidate in those jobs with those kinds of teams. I bet they get weird calls in the middle of the night and have to go hang out to impress ownership's friends. That kind of stuff the typical NFL fan would never think about. As far as the football stuff? I'm taking half this board. OK well, maybe 25% of this board over any GM we have ever had. Unfortunately the main job description is dealing with billionaires and not football.
  19. I was hoping for a lot more than another Wilks/Reich level coach. I don't think those guys match well with the Teppers' BS. Reich ended up with Young and Wilks ended up with Rosen. Just running the most basic offense isn't the end to hope for, it should be the beginning. How is Peters doing there now? If it's good what would it take to make him GM and does he have any HC thoughts and connections? They recovered well from Lance but they still look like they can't get over their QB hurdle they have faced since Smith. So many close tries but not the big Franchise QB they keep swinging for.
  20. If that is their bar then being elite at that level means zip and it shouldn't be a surprise when obvious not elite people, Golden calf to Jonny Gootball to Bryce Young, fail in the NFL. None od those guys were serious NFL prospects because anyone not a college fan can see how low their quality was from an NFL perspective. I don't really get college ball or it's culture really. I look at it from the NFL standard I guess.
  21. For me college elite become NFL elite and vise versa. That would make him just college entertainment. That or you have to call the NFL bound guys more than elite which I'm not sure how that would work. He isn't elite on any level but he was entertaining.
  22. Frank is saying he knows what the oline is good at and he understands what he is forcing them to do and poorly. The only issue is that was his MO before getting hired here. Still sounds like it really is Tepper forcing it all but that dummy signed up for this. Job interviews go both ways dude
  23. I never said shy away from it. I have said that was a better direction since the season started. I just made the point of tempered expectations.
