  1. Well the facts point that it's not a good investment. LV makes a lot of sense but show me another city like LV. You are speaking pure emotions while you ignore the facts. And trying to diss the Canes when they are the only quality professional sporting product in NC is something the Panthers bot would say.
  2. That is not true and even KC won't give the their SB team a new stadium on tax payer's backs. Team owners looking to build or revamp big league sports stadiums often seek public funds in the hundreds of millions of dollars. But research conducted over decades indicates these investments almost never lead to massive economic gains for host cities. "Despite perennial claims from team owners that building new stadiums or revamping existing ones will result in a fiscal and jobs boom for a city or region, research consistently shows that the hundreds of millions of public dollars that are often outlaid are not typically a sound investment." It is most likely to be publicly funded profit for Tepper. You sound like someone that works for Tepper or if the bot found a chatGPT plugin.
  3. Meh looks like an ugly facade over what they already have. From classical to billionaire with ketchup on his steak. The only things they talked about that would be positive and worth the money spent is new seating (just new seats or layout remains to be seen) and new food options. The rest is more empty hype by blowing money so just more Tepper being Tepper. Looks like he went for the exterior of Atlanta and I wouldn't hold your breath on those prices lol. He has to pay for all of those bad coach contracts for years still.
  4. What a terrible draft...again Is it? Tepper keeps hiring the same kind of people so it's really no big surprise. Who was the expert in the hiring process. Caldwell...0% surprise unfortunately
  5. They didn't need much film last year. Atlanta shook Young early. Starting with a division rival makes me think it will happen again with a healthy Saints D. If Young is still scared to throw downfield then it will be over until the prevent D Stat padding time.
  6. We have known for years and we know this year. The big question is will it be pick #1 again or pick #10. The last time I didn't know was 2019 and how one-sided that D was. Cam went down and then it became known. Since then nothing has really changed just a revolving door of failures and mismatched personel and schemes.
  7. Even AR had more upside it was just the injury issues combined with his play style. Young should have gone in the 3rd but experts and college play lol People were bashing Levis to make Young look better and look how that turned out.
  8. This is a team that will struggle to get to 5 wins and avoid being the worst team in the NFCS. This guy is obviously working for the house as a 'gambling specialist' because all that money will end up in their hands if you follow his advice. Calling all suckers. It's not even a football take but a betting take lol. And the Jets are favored to win in 14 games after Rodgers couldn't finish 1 offensive series last year LOL. If you are not making fun of this than you missed the point.
  9. It's football and any given Sunday. Look at the GB game last year. They gave up after getting ahead and almost let the Panthers come back. It's like Ian Thomas catching a ball, it happens because the other team forgets it can happen when it doesn't happen that often.
  10. LOL at getting back to normal bad vs last year's terrible. So pick 5 instead of pick 1? Just take a vacation dude. Or start talking about '25s QB situation. Or that the people in charge blew so much money on OGs and ignored C. But that kind of improvement is just getting back to Rhule ball lol
  11. The BC thing was worst case. Seems like he should beat out what an UDFA (I didn't see anyone else thst I can remember) in that scenario where Ickey flops hard again. 100% on the work. That and coaching should get him to decent. I liked the work he did in year 1 but he took a giant step back last year. Hopefully he steps it up big time. Talent just is a necessity in the NFL just as hard work for success is also.
  12. He looked like a giant bag of stink last year. No idea he he ever makes a big enough leap in his pass protection to stay at LT but it's at least a reasonable attempt for this year with the new talent he will be playing beside. It's not like he came into the league a polished prospect but more as a pass protect project and run mauler. BC will probably get a good look if Ickey can't improve. Could be worse, like a 36 year old back up sitting on the roster to force themselves to justify using the pick they spent on Ickey without giving any meaningful possibility of useful competition in a situation a reasonable doubt like this.
  13. Lol kiss of death territory right there
  14. Their school really doesn't matter, that is all history by the draft. Can they play physically in the NFL and do they have a mind & personality that can be coached to a professional level? The school thing is so overblown and all of the stuff at that level is just lower level practice as far as the NFL is concerned.
  15. I get wanting a new contract but that is a dumb way of doing it...unless he just wants to get out of town. I would love to hear his agent's take on this master plan. New staff so hold out while others get a shot at your spot? Maybe go to OTAs and spend some time with the new people and then try and put their feet to the fire to get a new deal before preseason? Naw lol
  16. Probably not but crazier things have happened. Perfect
  17. It's so bad that the guys talking about the next draft are on point when the rest are just selling hope for a few months of clicks and another top 5 pick even with him improving from historically bad to just regular bad.
  18. 30 is way too high. He will improve some but still not be a better option than drafting a QB in the top 5 again without wasting additional picks. Then he can be a backup or ask for a trade, win-win.
  19. 1 really bad game that shows any limitations because what they have already built him up as a HoF lock. I don't think so. Not just talent either, their personalities will probibly limit their NFL careers regardless of physical talent.
  20. Every year it looks like someone does a sales pitch to Tepper and that's what he goes with. It's also why it has been a horror show on the outcome side. The hard thing about Bryce is he is likable so people not only like him but feel like they need to defend the good guy. If he was a jerk like Wilson was on the Jets then they could just have signed a QB off the heap to try and Baker into the playoff this year while being justified but not with Bryce. I can't believe people let McG scam them. I guess some people have money to burn and like to be sold regardless of reality.
  21. The way they have been acting makes me think they deserve that outcome. They should have celebrated the hell out of the free pick for sure but what they have done since the draft just looks like they learned nothing from their team history or what Carolina went through last year.
  22. Bad teams tend to do bad things but these guys also have agents who do too good of a job sometimes. I really wonder how infested some teams are with input from the media....because most of those are terrible and lazy in the draft process.
  23. IDK, Tepper was thrilled to be the center of attention leading up to that draft. Given the moves he tried to make since Cam broke, even before Fritters was hired, I'm not convinced who was the lead on that trade up idea. It fits both of their MOs, IMO, so I doubt the other party took any real convincing to make it a reality anyways. In the end Fritters was supposed to be the expert but Tepper has been really vocal about finding his QB while doing it all in the worst ways possible for years.
  24. I'm torn. It was great for the kids that got the crumbs that fell through the cracks but I also hate the NCAA and how they have wielded their power for decades. Most of those schools' finances baffle me anyways. They just seem like they are poorly set up to do this across the board. The NIL angle looked like a clown show to me but I also don't tune into anything at that level until it's directly draft related.
  25. Watching the Bears over hype him after historically bad QB play on that team has been fun, well that and crap coaching. It's like they learned nothing from last year even if the players are polar opposites. I don't see a Cam in him, he looks like what I feared Cam was coming out early in his draft process where Cam made me feel better as it went along and Williams made be doubt more. I still don't see how he ends up the best QB in his class. The funniest thing is that they could walk from him next year and just waste a bonus pick while still picking in the top 5 again.
