It's so hard to evaluate anything but ST in the first 2 games IMO. All I want to see is guys getting a decent chance to prove themselves.

I'm just glad DM waited on Diontae's contract. I'm still not convinced he is worth what he is asking for. Everyone has been getting open because the Ds have known where it's not going. They have also been covered when they knew where it was going. Really not sure what to expect with competent QB play.

He could have just kept Rhule and ended up with the #1 pick if that was his master plan. Plus Baker didn't play much in the rotation under Wilks.
-
The peers sure are but that is normal and given the history expected. The media experts are turning but the ones that went hard for him are still trying to twist the narrative to make him look good. They obviously do not watch the games this year which isn't surprising.
-
Me neither but there is a lot of stuff I need to see with how bad the breakdown at QB was and just the dysfunction it caused.
-
Baker played under Tepper's missmanagement and now plays them twice a year. Why would he not be smiling while stirring that pot? Good for him. Also does Tampa look like they miss DC? I didn't catch their games at all but they look to be putting up better numbers without him.

Dalton needs to be healthy and productive enough to justify bringing him back. I have no idea where he really is now but we should all know Sunday. It's going to have to be a cheaper vet and another rookie. They have a lot of cap tied up in an oline and need to inject more into the deffensive side. They don't have the option of an expensive FA QB.

He is running with J Russell. He is going to break the former 1st round guys passing though here to find greener pastures elsewhere streak. He peeked in school. Some guys do. It's not the same game.
-
I want to see what they all look like with an offense that can get a 1st down in the 1st quarter. Seems like it would make a big difference in all the evaluations.
-
It's like rediscovering fun. I'm so tired I can't take wins seriously but just play a game where these guys show up hungry and have fun showing what they can do.

Anything is possible. I'm just happy Bryce is finally sat and we all can get a peak at what everyone else can do. It's prove it time.

Would quarterbacks avoid Carolina Panthers in NFL Draft?
Waldo replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
Most Guys want to have that title of best in their class and the bigger check then the rest. Chicago still got their guy and what rookie QB has ever done well there? -
They got so much wrong. In the end he is a nice guy who stays out of trouble. That's all they got right.
-
It's evaluating Morgan and it was not a good move. And fixed it for you.
-
They could have saved some cap for other positions and still upgraded from poo to good. Everyone knew we needed OGs but going out and buying the most expensive options did not help Young and the D sure needs some of that money. Now they can't go out and spend on a free agent next year at QB that isn't a prove it deal and will probably have to roll with another rookie QB with the cap they put into the oline.

You had me until last year broke him. I saw him break this year when he threw his first pass in the regular season. You could see it on his face. Not playing him last year just delays the inevitable even if it was the move they should have made before all the pro-ready BS.

Duh. An old arm is better than no arm...
-
Hard to sit a guy when you talked for weeks about him being so pro-ready.

RUMOR: Bryce Young 'pissed' at being benched for Andy Dalton

The opposite of a unicorn is a basilisk I think. Poisonous and turns things to stone. Baby yaga also fits.

If it's a basketball player then who gives a fug? If it's a football player then get your coach to go trade for him or STFU. Pretty simple. She is better than just clickbait BS

It looks like Caroll's to me. Smart enough to know they need to run but not smart enough to run when they need to do so. It's the 2016 SB failure in a nutshell. It's more updated than Fox ball but it also not new or innovative.
-
I'm amazed you think Tepper can pull off a plan. Dude has been failing to do so for years. Sometimes you just fall back into something that works for you. And Bryce earned it just like plenty of other people did too including the Teppers.

I don't think it exists in the NFL. I think you put him at Miami and it's a spread offense where he gets the ball off too slow and even with that speed it's 2 yard gains.
