  1. They still on average gave almost 3 seconds to the QB. https://x.com/throwthedamball/status/1739773008045056318 The OGs were bad and plays fell apart but a decent QB could work with that. Look at all the QBs with less time to throw. Also with all those plays falling apart in the middle that means on other plays he had well over 3 seconds. It wasn't good but he was so much worse.
  2. When I said that last year I was met with disbelief. The line, the WR separation, etc. In the end he made everything around him worse. And trying to make him work here made the team worse. Lots of lessons in the Young failure. I think we have to see him again and I hope it is short and they just move on with Plumber or someone else. At this point I don't even think Young is a PS guy. There just is no upside with him at this level.
  3. Yes! This is not a playoff team and there are going to be more losses. It's still better than the last year and guys are getting their chances. So many projects so there will be lows and hopefully some highs. At best they are still picking top 10 and at worst top 3. Just keep breathing and be thankful they even have a chance to prove something every week.
  4. It's Andy. Some good, some bad and some meh. Coker should get another shot with AT out. Now that the high is over they can work on that stuff this week. That's what I really want to see. Week to week improvement.
  5. Great to hear. I haven't heard that yet. It's a frustrating thing at best to endure and the exhaustion and stress of all of it tends to get to people. I know they are collecting supplies here all over the place to send up that way when groups leave to go help.
  6. People were ready to hand him a long term contract after last week. This is more reasonable and normal. It's still fun and the young guys are getting their shots.
  7. Sounds like they got the helicopters to the area. I don't think hurricane plans really include that much air power at the coast. It's a different playbook up there and it doesn't look like they are doing air drops yet. Here on the coast they just boat or drive it in but they should be dropping off manpower and shipping containers of goods up there by air. I hope they get it to yall soon!
  8. This is the kind of year where you play what you have and decide if they should be here next year. Time to coach up where they can. No offensive guys please anyways. Maybe a D guy if it really made sense and didn't cost too much but we really should sit tight. I would say we should be sellers but they already sold off most of the team and then picked the guys we already want to be replaced.
  9. Learn to draft better. Trading can't fix this issue. Throwing money at it isn't an option either. They are going to have to scrape something together moving forward. They already made this bed and now they have to sleep in it.
  10. Some of those guys he actually wanted. It cuts both ways
  11. He never was. They also didn't spend enough on that side. The problem is it's his 2nd year so even without spending enough the guys here aren't really holdovers. It's a coaching and talent issue. He needs to do better with what we have. Today he didn't.
  12. It's honestly the kind of ugly game they needed after the high of last week and the wasteland before that. Dalton is fun. IDGAF It's fun even if there is a lot of ugly
  13. HAHA me either. I don't do fantasy but I always check out those QB lists for fun....there just hasn't been a lot to have over the years.
  14. I always check it out because they get funny with it. Karma LOL
  15. That and lots of anger over how everything went down here at that time. Rhule's 3rd year and those offenses even leaning on CMC completely were really bad. They also held him out because it was so bad and they knew he was keeping their jobs for him. I believe his first year with the 49ers he was coming off 2 years of heavy rest and they used him very well but he still left 2 games (?) early and was dealing with some stuff that didn't prevent him from playing fully. Some people just had an axe to grind with him and still pops up once in a while. Of all the problems at that time CMC was a freaking blip on any negatives compared to so many other issues.
  16. A professional speaking like a professional? No way. Hey DC said we he was QB #1 and then the next day he was on the bench. He should get liar tattooed on his forehead... Just stop asking anyways. His film it out there and nothing on it looks good enough to keep having this debate. Historically bad is what he is so even if he improved he would still be just regular bad.
  17. I moved out of Cape Coral after Charlie. 14 days no power in Florida in August is not worth it to me. Just go visit and get the hell out. It's so much worse now. I had a new build that was up to the 150 mph standards and those idiots rolled that back after I left in 2006. I could see them declaring bankruptcy there for sure but I haven't heard of it in NC with the NCIUA and NCJUA system they have set up here on the coast. Couldn't get the link to work. I also think they base it on 100 year storms, if I remember correctly, so the 1000 year one they got in the mountains wouldn't show that. I also think I was told the numbers are old and need to be updated but then it would push a bunch of people from good and into the bad sections of the maps but that would have to come down federally and there is too much money in that system to get it done at this time...if I am remembering correctly.
  18. In nc it's either wind driver rain or water that comes from the ground up which is flood. The way it's written is sketchy and gives lots of wiggle room. Thanks. Going to need it. It really stinks. Haven't seen may insurance companies fail recently, not in NC at least. They are very proactive with negotiating with system regulators to not be responsible for anything that would hit too hard. Florida sounds on the edge of collapse but I haven't dealt with that in years thankfully.
  19. Flood maps only show normal flooding. It doesn't take into account is flooding on it's way downhill. Also in the mountains wtf do mudslides get classified as in this situation? No idea but if your on the coast flood insurance is looking more and more necessary even if the flood map says your not at high risk.
  20. How often does that happen? I'm literally dealing with a denied claim where you have to pay experts to fight them and wait a long time to get anything to move forward. People strapped for cash wouldn't even be able to put up a fight. Renters get fugged hard too, even when they have renters insurance there are all kinds of programs they are left out of. Insurance companies will just get subsidized by the government or have their problems pushed onto the public's dime and keep making profit every quarter while the stock market keeps going up.
  21. I'm way too familiar. Get a private adjuster and fight them. It will be federal at that level and lots of new SBA loans to cover some of the rest. They need helicopters just to access most of it apparently. I'm sure the glut of info will come in when they get people to better locations...which is a whole other freaking issue. Lots of that is going to be uninhabitable for a while going into winter.
  22. It's amazing how fast we go back to the basics. I have no idea. The level of messed up to the level of cost to the level of time it takes to do those kinds of projects is beyond my imagination. I think anyone without flood insurance just got fugged too. It's usually the first thing an agent tries to cut off when they are pitching prices. I had to ask mine and because I have a basement they said it would only cover flood damage at the first floor and above. Freaking scammy system.
  23. Goes back to engineering. It's why they built that big ass aqueduct under LV so the city wouldn't wash away. Water has to go somewhere and there it's picking up speed as it descends. Anything grandfathered in from newer changes was just washed away. It cost so much money to build and maintain that it gets hard to get the public behind those kinds of projects.
  24. I have friends and family up that way. I was thinking of joining them in a few years. Now I'm not so sure. The cold I think I am ready for. That flooding and mudslides are not. Still waiting to hear from most of them.
