I don't see a way this year will become exciting until Rhule and co are fired and we are discussing the next crew.
-
The guy had to prep for his hand getting measured...at 8.5"... Vick had 8 5" hands but he also had a ton more goibg fir him than Picketts does. No idea if his hands are big enough. He throws ducks and isn't a real good prospect.
-
They should have done that last year. Now they are going to make up for lost picks with a trade back and find 3 starters in this draft after not having one start more than 3 games last season? I would say they need to do it for me to belive it. Expecting Erving or Elf to start again is a very bad start to the process.

That is fair sir. My only hope I have is that McAdoo can stop another Darnold deal this year. If this was a better QB draft class then I would hope he could bring us a legit QB. I just don't see that this year. The one guy with a lot of upside is a long-term QB project and not a win now guy. That was supposed to be McAdoo's positive, finding young QB talent. We are talking to teams for Vets so I'm not sure it will even come into play. If he had a hand in PJ staying then I think even this is suspect. Impressing Rhule means little if we are talking about reality and not the reality of Rhule's pooshow. Being an IT guys sure doesn't help. He was just the best a failing HC could do, not really that impressive to me but certainly a huge deal for Rhule.

If McAdoo was that good he wouldn't have been consulting last year instead of coaching and wouldn't have taken this job. Two is absolutely true. I personally gave up on One years ago. His best work came on blown coverages due to the fact no D respects him. His blocking isn't even impressive and that is his strength.

No idea. What do the injury history and weight management history look like for these guys? IDC how great a huge guy looks like if those two boxes are not clean. It just ends badly if not.
-
It's crazy and depressing how so many rookies would be day 1 starters here and that's not even playing close to the the level Slater did last year.
-
I would take 2 of those olinemen sure. Would rather keep the 4th and send a player like Anderson.
-
He isn't a talented as either of those guys but I guess it sounds better than Joey Harrington or Blain Gabbert.
-
Just shows bad judgement and a good lawyer, not too bad for a guy we should have cut last pre-season. It's stupid but that's probably why we wanted to keep him around doing bare minimum on a bloated contract when we could just be playing the 2nd year guy they drafted, he fits the new mold perfectly. He is bad at his job and a public embarrassment. Guess he is the official starter now.

Well with how Tepper is running things it kind of fits...

Top 15 QB's that are candidates for trade.
Waldo replied to Ivan The Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
I have heard the same. Still, his best learning will be on the field. Hand the ball off and make some quick throws. Even as a raw prospect that is a doable bar in year 2. -
Darnold was worth a 5th round pick max and no way should he have ever got his 5th year option picked up. Everyone involved should be fired and Tepper should get the hint at the least. And no, I don't think anything changes for Sam if he played behind a great line. The guy plays worse with more time to throw. It was never going to work, they just valued everything wrong along the way. And yeah we should have taken Slater or Fields. Mistakes upon mistakes.

Desperation and past failures make me think Rhule will not do anything resonable when it comes to his QB move this offseason. It would be great to have Jimmy G off the board for us. I don't know how far Lance is from being 'ready'. They have a good team they should just roll with Lance. No one is winning a SB with Jimmy G, might as well get some reps for the future guy. They have to know that by now. This could be a way of them trying to pump up his price. -

BREAKING NEWS Deshaun Watson now willing to be traded to CAROLINA

Meatballs and Marty fuggin Hurney. The taint job that guy did on Tepper's ownership mindset and Rhule's powers as a HC in the NFL is unbelievable. I thought he had been screwing us for years, boy did he have so much more to give lol.

Could we really pick something other than QB or o-line at 6?
Waldo replied to Verge's topic in Carolina Panthers
Whatever as long as who we pick up is tradeable for the next crew. It sure would be nice if they played in more than 3 games their rookie years tho -
The why is simple, Tepper has no idea what is going on and still thinks Rhule can work his 3rd year magic... I do wonder if he is thinking something like 'these fans, what is their problem? He told you to trust the process.' There is zero indications that he has learned one positive thing from his Rhule mess yet.
-
All that would require making good decisions and having a quality plan for the offseason. So far that sounds unrealistic with what they look to have planned. I expect an Anderson extension before an Anderson cut by these people.
-
Lol they just wasted more cap on Thomas so just expect to see the dead weight stay lol, it's all part of the process! I can not force myself to expect them to make decent moves at this point. If a player is overpaid and under performing it just means they are expected to start for us this year I guess.

Meh, fan how you want. I'm not one to place much into hope when the reality of the facts points elsewhere. Thank you Hurney, you made calluses on my fanhood. Tepper is looking like another owner that is 10 years if ever from learning how to run a functioning team. Ok, it stinks but it's not unusial for a new owner and he has a lot more painful lesons to learn while he isn't even done with all the fail that is Rhule yet. This year has all of the makings of a epic fail. I can find fun in that, it's not what I ever wanted but it's what is going to happen because Tepper has not pushed Rhule's powers except making him hire a 'rockstar' McAdoo. LOL I lost interest in watching bad football, I've seen enough for a lifetime. I'll keep doing other stuff with the Panthers on in the background until I forget to rember to turn it on. I am without a doubt not spending another dime on this team as long as they remain incompetent.
