  1. If they are that good of an OC then they won't be around long. In this NFL I would rather be an offensive based coach needing a DC then a deffensive coach constantly searching for a half decent OC. Seemed a lot different 20 years ago.
  2. All true but all those guys ran really good offenses. Levy came up with the no-huddle? Crazy for a guy who played DB. All that sounds like the exceptionals and the standards. I just can't see Quinn as more than a DC, Dallas would be smart to keep him but then again DCs are a lot easier to find now than a good OC. Trends change. I wonder how McD will do when he loses another OC? Ron had trouble losing DCs in back to back years. (not trying to knock McD but it is a huge challenge and they looked a lot better under their last OC superstar)
  3. You wrote up a detailed and thorough list that I hope never comes close to being brought here. Stuff of nightmares.
  4. I am 100% against it. Wrong direction with a predictable outcome. He is a DC and nothing more. He is really good but still just a DC. I'm tired of wanting to emulate the fugging Seahawks glory days. There are better trees out there and I hate being tied to that one at this point.
  5. Just like with players, when there is massive failure a change of scenery can be good for both sides. Fritterer in prove it mode leaves me with giant doubts given what he has done and been a part of here. He does have the rest of the season to prove why he should be brought back. The Quinn stuff is a dealkiller and I will absolutely hope against that ever happening.
  6. Ward sounds like the kind of guy not picked 1st but end up the best QB in that draft type guy. Good to hear there is at least one in this draft.
  7. It was why he was hired and what made him qualified to be a GM on a leash. Could he be more? Maybe but that is a big maybe because he has operated inside of the cuck GM role for years and doing a real GM job would be new, different and unknown. And his connections are not great from what has been presented.
  8. If Tepper starts calling the field to dictate plays then we need to start working on a good frame job. That is a big step in the wrong direction.
  9. I think so too but I am more worried about this crew and the contracts they have done recently than Burns himself. Just a convenient excuse to hold off until the offseason.
  10. That is who he is at his core. Hopefully he is a wiser OCA now or he will continue to be a sad loser OCA in the NFL.
  11. The fire sale was more about the pathetic 4 picks we hold now in 2023 than just getting rid of guys. Wait a couple of weeks and when the reality catches up with everyone and Wilks gets some time without any moves then it's time to start talking selling players. 2 or 3 weeks and losses is enough time and just before the trade deadline. A win or 2 could change that. I like those building blocks but disagree about Burns. Depending on the next coach and scheme he could be a building block or be a trade piece, just wait and see what is best and no reason to give this crew another contract to craft without input from the new HC & crew. I like the idea that if we are keeping CMC regardless then IR him and lean on him next year with a rookie though I don't really care if they do trade him. RBs are replaceable and come much cheaper and we all have learned with him you can't run an offense on just a RB. The Anderson trade should already be in the works and I can't wait to not have to hear his BS anymore. I hope Tepper has isolated the problems but I fear there are still more laying around now that the most obvious one is gone. Like as in Tepper himself and anyone hustling him and his money.
  12. Rhule was such a control freak and it is confirmed that he wanted to control the PR naritive so there is plenty that could spill because of that extreamly unusual circumstance. Stew isn't a coach so I don't know why he would give generic football speach like someone giving a presser. Stew isn't a Rhule guy so there is zero reasons for him to fluff any facts. I don't think it will be a hit job but there is a lot of ground of failure to cover on the subject of Rhule. I do expect to hear him speak about Wilks in a golden light but yeah there is plenty that could come out about the BS going on under Rhule.
  13. Please be juicy. So much BS in the air that it is a suffocating crap mist at this point. What does he know and what really went on. Let it rip Stew
  14. I know we should wait a couple of weeks but we should absolutely unloading players before 11/1. 4 picks is garbage and that numbers needs to raise before the offseason. You want to make this an attractive landing spot for a competent HC? Get them assets to improve in their way. People act like CMC is some unreplaceable great player yet both of his HCs were fired regardless with him on the team. He isn't a QB so please stop pretending he has that effect. Fun and exciting does not equal wins. His best year we had 5 wins, yes he is replaceable and yes they will likely not be as good and yes it won't really matter outside of how it feels if he wasn't here. There just are not many guys we shouldn't consider trading on this team if we can get a decent offer.
  15. We need people with better connections. All of that is a dead ends and endless failure.
  16. So how did Miami hire McDanials if Ross is such a bad owner? Money talks and those guys want a shot at a promotion. All of the first part of that post were comical exaples of BS reasons that are just as good as keeping a GM in title only who was hired to do what Rhule wanted. What is the difference between that and Wilks, they are both doing a job now that they were not hired for. Hell Wilks is a better example becaude he has only been here this season. I have stated I don't think the fire sale happens now but in a few weeks before the deadline. It's a bad look to hand the team over to Wilks and then undercut him. After a loss or 2 all that goes out the window.
  17. Every year that train gets out of hand. For fugs sake it did last year and it was the worst class I can remember. The NFL is a hype machine and the need for QBs makes it a guarantee that fans will belive some of the crazy and stupid crap that they come up with to keep people engaged. I get what you are saying tho. I just don't look until the kids are done with school. It takes all of the emotion out of it and makes it easier IMO.
  18. And yet that post is correct and you are being salty. There was no argument to be had because you obviously have none left on this topic except petty bickering and I don't dislike you enough to want to cross that line. Disprove it or let this die.
  19. Neither Mahomes or Allen went #1 but plenty of really bad QBs have. I would rather have the best QB and not the most desired QB regardless of the 'experts' opinions.
  20. We should just keep Wilks as HC next year regardless because it's not fair he gets only part of the coaching duties and not a full shake. We should keep RA because it's not fair he doesn't get to prove he was more than another of Rhule's free pass. We should just keep McAdoo because it is not fair he had to run Rhule's offense. The NFL will never want to work here because were are unfair to let go underperforming employees like every other team. Horsezhit. Do any of those moves with some basic skills and care and it is just another day in the NFL. Did McDanials refuse the Miami job after Flores? Did Ron take the Commies job after well everything Snyder does? Did Lovie Smith take the job from that racist owner in Houston? Hell did all these people take a job here after talking to Rhule?
  21. Yeash, just run the ball. Not a great selling piont for Wilks as a long term answer either.
