  1. You have the eye for it and take a lot of crap from other posters for saying it. This QB draft cycle was like listening to old baseball people talk about fat girfriends and stuff. The best QB had more people talking about his freaking schools' QB history vs his actual transition into the NFL.
  2. Yeah even when Fitt gets fired what kind of replacement are the Teppers going to bring in to replace him? Until things change dramatically it's best to just accept it would be more of the same. I don't like it but that's what this is and it needs to be added into all talk of the future until things change.
  3. You can tell all the way back on his school tape. People who watch too much college ball tend to blur the lines but if all you watch is the NFL then it stands out. There is a QB lighting it up in DC while under terrible pressure and there is a QB in Texas doing the same with a limited roster. Coaching may be the only legit thing there but again, his limitations are also visible. Could he go to Miami and put up stats? Probibly, not as much as Tua, but both are a liability when facing good or better teams so it really doesn't matter once they get into the playoffs. All that talent and stats yet no one is saying Miami will take the SB.
  4. Yeah it's looking like very good is a pipe dream for him in the NFL. Serviceable is a conversation worth having and that looks like his ceiling and that takes ton of roster changes to even hit that. He will be a bust for what they spent on him and what they missed out on by picking him but even busts can go on to be serviceable and that is what this entire situation looks like.
  5. Quick passing game vs bibble screens and RPOs? That's not BB's quick passing game. I wish they had that competency but what they are talking about is something much less than what you are talking about.
  6. There is zero hope from me anymore. There is no reason for me to even pretend. I'm just here to laugh and watch poo burn. That's all the Panthers have to give anymore. Maybe in a few years they can go back to being watchable but that is in no way guaranteed with their current trajectory, dead set on making new mistakes to fix the last big mistakes.
  7. The vibe of having a future of watchable football vs endless open Sundays? Yeah there would still be a plethora of issues with the team but at least the football would be watchable.
  8. And yet somehow people can keep a straight face while talking about using our first pick in this draft on a WR i the 2nd.
  9. When their answer for all of their problems is more bubble screens you should already know how bad their football knowledge really is in reality. They want to build the Alabama offense but I think they will have trouble finding that level of tallent in the NFL on the other side.
  10. The same people that said Hruney was well respected...as an opponent.
  11. Try some PS guys with speed. I don't understand keeping TMJ if he isn't tradable or worth a roster spot. If AT went down it would be comical how bad it would get for them.
  12. Don't for get the Fritterer specail of trading away talent for lesser talent. Thinking of the rebuilding an Oline designed for another type of offense seems like the biggest place they could fail. People who think this oline is bad could have a real surprise coming next year.
  13. I thought they would have already done a Hurney special by now but it sounds like they are serious about tapping his amzing well of talent with more RPOs and bubbles. If they try that agaisnt Dallas he might have a case for attempted murder.
  14. I don't know what excites me less, his style of play or the thought of a long rebuild around him. They want to do more bubbles and RPOs. I can not imagine what they build next in their denial.
  15. Regardless if you think Bryce could be the guy or not , if Fitterer stays then he is already done here. They can throw blame around all they want but that house needs to be purged and anything less just results in more fantasies from fans because they are not going to be doing much good again if anything is left to carryover to the new clownshow. We are already on version 2.0 and it just keeps getting worse.
  16. Sounds like Tepper is in blind denial and Frank is getting all the blame. That entire thing reads like 'Panther fans fugged, Tepper digging in his heels over past mistakes and get ready for anther wasted draft under an incompetent GM'. If they stick to the current course they will have to hire a real bottom of the beryl HC. I don't even know how much they will have to pay someone to interim coach if the next game is as bad as it already looks. He isn't close to making a good football decision in regards to the mess he made.
  17. I don't think there is anyone that can save Bryce. If Tepper was as involved as suspected in the pick then nothing is going to save him from a brutal year except the IR, Tepper won't accept sitting him yet and maybe not at all. It's just going from Frank to who? Brown isn't better. Who is the goto Wilks guy and how much is he going to fight the GM and ownership over handling Bryce going forward?
  18. I can't believe he wants to do it. Like they gave him an out and he could just let the blame train roll over Brown but here he is asking for more. I can't stop laughing. I don't feel sorry for any of them. It's like Tepper is a dumbass magnet when he hires.
  19. He is right. Either Young couldn't see it or couldn't read it, neither is good and both are on him as the QB.
  20. Yeah, Tua hasn't scored more than 18 points and is 0-3 against team with winning records this year (Like the Chargers just broke even at 4-4). He is still looking like their weak spot that can put up great numbers against anything mediocre or less. 2 of those 3 loses where under 300 total yards on offense. You are not wrong about the mess that went down. That entire thing was wacky with Flores.
  21. Shouldn't look good at all. The only way that ends in a win to me is if it makes Tepper take his hands off the wheel for the next GM to accept the job. I still can't buy that with how Tepper approaches his hiring process and with what is suspected in how he runs the team.
  22. I just don't see what it changes or helps. Unless some things happen behind the scenes just roll with Frank and make him dance (lol as if Tepper had the ability to do more than be entertaining). Don't get me wrong, I would love to see everything burned down so it won't contaminate what could come next but this just seems like movement without purpose. Don't they already do a corroborative approach anyways? What is he really doing but giving pressers and having to meet with an angry and confused Tepper if that is really the way they have been rolling.
  23. Since 2020 he has been in a decline. When Ballard was hired he did even worse in 22 and that last year they ended up at 30. The total yards in 20 and 21 went from 10 to 16 to 27 in 22. Yes he was fired during 22 but he was still the HC for that offseason. So in 23 with that same GM they are 7 and 12 again. This year he is 27 and 29 respectively. The fact he came here the way he did and showed he learned nothing is not a positive any way you look at it. The entire pitch that it was everyone else in Indy is smashed, he absolutely was part of their problems. Siriani was an idiot but they did that same song and dance in 22 and then went away from it when Frank was gone in 23. Tepper has a finger in way too many things and Frank was fine with that just like he was fine with his QBs the last 4 years. They may not have been his first choice but there is zero record of him being against them that I have seen.
  24. They don't even have a legit reason to fire him, he is as advertised and he let go of the play calling which is about the only thing you could directly blame him for with their 'collaborative effort' BS they got going on (more like 'easy to dodge blame' system). He didn't build the team. He didn't draft anyone. He was a non-playcalling OC that year in Philly. In Indy he proved what he is and he just brought that same bag here. He was just experienced enough to know how to sell the Teppers in the interviews. Have what they want to hear ready, sound knowledgeable with a little easy prep and kiss that ass until they give you a contract to sign. Dude looked online at some stats and then had a sales pitch ready. Since he went to Indy his quality was known and it wasn't that good. If anything he actually found a way to do his worst here which is the only thing impressive he has done since being hired. I don't even know who they would tab to take over. Caldwell? LOL. Brown? So Frank can go prove he was right a 3rd time...and fail again like the first 2 times? Campen so that unit can flourish playing against their strengths under Kugler? The guy who was with Houston in 21 and here since then and little else worth mentioning about his capabilities. It's all so stupid and there really isn't any good moves if they are not burning it down and flipping everyone on the FO staff and coaching staffs to do a proper rebuild from the ashes. They can fire Fritterer but how much was he told to do and does anyone want to hire a GM to work with Frank because that is how they got a low quality GM like Fritterer in the first place. It's a shitshow and my guess is they either fire Frank or Scott at a weird time (like the way they fumbled the Rhule firing) as the screws come off behind the scenes or too much blame lands back on the Teppers to make any meaningful change possible so they just roll with 'being patient' which really translates into 'I don't want to admit my mistakes and there are no easy ways out so let me distance my self for a couple of months and just pretend I had nothing to do with all of this'. I think it will be option 2.
