  1. Was that the one he ran into the ground and retired early?
  2. I thought KC and fans did backflips after hiring Reid. Hell his health was the biggest isssue and that is reasonable. Kyle was heat about the QB. The journeyman wasn't enough but expensive, overcommited to Lance with that trade and may get into the SB again but Purdy is the big wildcard now. Neither one left a smoking ruin like Payton and the 49ers already have a much better and more stable HC than JH ever was. Pulling from the shinny toxic failures of the Cowboys, a Rivera clone of failure or a rundown OC who hasn't put impressive film together in years. It's champagne time I guess. Looking past Fangio at their DC list it looks like a poostain if they miss on him. Whatever gets us closer to a housecleaning is what I am hoping for at this point...again.
  3. Comparing Reich to Reid was a huge tune out for me. Why not throw Wilks in for laughs. What about the one where Rhule could actually coach? Naratives are BS, some are true and some completely fictinal. No one left on the coaching board is winning a SB here sounds a lot more realistic and relavant for us.
  4. Holy crap their list of other DC options outside of Fangio is so bad.
  5. Man they fugged up. Wait for the young OC to want the job and then hold their hand getting a good DC. I wondered what the poision pill was and there it is.
  6. I think the defense falls apart and it just flips to simi-competent on the other side would be my guess. Looking at his connections I am left underwhelmed until I look at Wilks' and then I just need a drink.
  7. Safe, boring and zero reasons to even think about a SB. The party they throw for making it into a WC game and getting destroyed will be epic tho.
  8. The only good thing about going with Wilks is he has already coached the team for 12 games so if he isn't winning at the end of next year then he is firable because it will be like his second year with us. Just clean house and hire a consultant so we have a chance at ever hiring a good coach.
  9. It brings in a lot of room for questions. Unfortunately we have to wait and hear what went on in the process but the candidates left standing are all weak ones IMO.
  10. We have no idea what the reps of the team are saying in these interviews or what they are requiring of the new HC. The fact David and Nicole are directly involved makes me wonder if we may just be giving terrible interviews...well that and the remaining list of candidates.
  11. The guy who hired and paid that idiot is interviewing and qualifying the HC options in this search with Nicole added in lol. Who needs a Hurney when you have 2 Teppers...
  12. Hurney wasn't the one that traded for him or gave him the 5th year option unfortunately...
  13. They both were on teams doing good enough to get a look at HC but neither looks good on their own. Is Moore better than Hackett? Sure. Good enough to matter? Nope. More similar than different.
  14. He comes from another sh$t franchise, his playcalling is unimpressive and he was the worst OC we have talked to this offseason.
  15. He does not look like a good candidate just like Hackett. He looks more like a Doresy in playcalling, not good enough and I am happy to leave him with the Cowboys.
  16. Yuck. Moore is a Hackett waiting to happen. Wilks shouldn't survive more than a year with his approach. Riech would be 2 years.
  17. It's lose lose either way. If he didn't then he is a wet noodle GM and if he did then he was part of the problem.
  18. We probably can do better but it's too late this year so he is getting another shot. If we hire a dud coaching staff then it's clean house and try again.
  19. He is very meh for me. Visiting the past and continuing to watch the NFL move into the future without us. He like Reich is a coach I would rather have around not as a HC.
  20. Steichen, big drop to Kafka and then a bunch of variation of failures. Moore and Dorsey look more like a Hackett then a Daboll. Wilks, Reich and Caldwell would likely be very mediocre and boring. Fug Payton.
  21. Or spend half of that and just find a QB in the draft.
  22. Much rather have some Dline help or just trade back then any DB. Really not impressed with what we have gotten out of what we have spent on CB recently. First move Jackson for a pick or find one in the 3rd to 5th range that can contribute regularly before shooting for another top 10 CB pick.
  23. Manages the pocket well, tracks defenders & receivers and has a high ceiling? Sounds great.
