  1. It wasn't 100% and it wasn't 0%. Meh Young can bust hard as the best of them and you still have a hiring problem well in front of the drafting problem. The trade up is what aggressive but stupid looks like and that sure looks like what Tepper has been trying for years. This wasn't a stud at # 1 year, it wasn't as bad as last year, and they went all in. There are so many mistakes being made that just focusing on the Young whompwhomp is a giant oversimplification of how poorly this team is run. I do give them props on improving the PR BS post Rhule. Back to the old JR 'I said it was this way so it was this way' days. OF course they all look like fools now but whatever, it's a 3 or 5 or 7 year plan...
  2. I do know it was not unquestioned but the proready stuff was absolutly BS at this point. Anklegate lol
  3. Preach brother. It sure does. The other alarming trend is can you see him leanring anything along the way? I can't if it's there. We went from a bad school coach to a bad NFL coach but was it learning for just running to thr pollar opposite in the first trend?
  4. Raid did the overcoming himself and a long HC stint stagnation. That was impressive and best case scenario. Reich never had that upside. I'm with you on retreds. There are some situations where a retred has traction situationally but this was just more flailing by Tepper. I wanted one of the 2 OCs. The one with the Lions still looks like the best catch out there.
  5. It was always the most likely outcome given the Rhule debocle, a 180 to a washed up retred that sold him on a future that wouldn't be delivered again. Pederson messed up big time in Philly at the end. Good for him turning that around but it wasn't a guaranteed turnaround when Jax hired him.
  6. 100%. Reich already proved he was a dud in Indy. The hype build up for him was not deserved in any way.
  7. Injured or not I don't see a win for anyone. And Reich absolutely loved Young. I don't see how that can be questioned. He didn't just support him, he raved passionately about him. The whole QB guru thing was always BS and he hit gold 1 time in Philly. Ron did it with 2 QBs, that make him a QB guru also?
  8. He is probably sick of being on hopeless teams. I don't blame him. He can ask for a trade or wait and see who the new staff and QB are next year and then ask for a trade. Hell he could still request it this year in a few games justifiably. Getting traded from a bottom team to another can't be fun.
  9. Both. Young looks like a washed Ryan and Frank is a dud all around. His days as a QB guru in Philly look like where he peaked in his career. More of the same from Dalton is what I am expecting. I do expect a shot or 2 deep that Young couldn't or wouldn't take, even if his arm is limited at this point on his career. Young has completed what 1 pass over 20 yards? Like the guys said 'walks like a duck, quacks like a duck...'.
  10. This team just got done with 2 plus of Rhule and then had just enough hope to get pissed about Frank's pulling his crap here to give him the theoretical time most new hires get. Even Rhule's first year he didn't get as much heat as Frank is already getting. I don't know what happens but none of this is usual territory. Even the media is already starting to pile on and it's week 3.
  11. But he is their best player and that is not it's own issue whatsoever...
  12. Well it's only week 3. Hopefully everyone is calling for firings by the end of the year so it can be done justifiably. Keep on calling those plays Frank, you can do this again and faster this time.
  13. Win a SB? Not a chance. Make the playoffs in the NFCS this year? Maybe.
  14. PSLs up for sale along with every game tickets this year. Tepper is a loser and has shown zero ability to learn from his own mistakes or near disasters he was lucky enough to avoid. He is such an incompentent owner and manager I don't even think he can put a crew together to buy a SB with a 1 year rental team approach. Good people don't seem end up working with him. As far as I can tell Morgan is the only inhouse person I can respect and that's mostly because he played here. Tepper is starting to reek of Snyder level hopelessness.
  15. That was my first thought given the responses and distance created.
  16. Tepper can't even close on a practice facility and you think he can pull of a team move approval, stadium build and tax deal? Only if the NFL does it for him.
  17. A lot of people put him up there and he should never have been up there in the first place.
  18. Frank is going to have to be fired or retire before you see any meaningful change. That guy still thinks he is doing good lol. Remember when people where saying what a great coach he is and talent evaluator? Yeah I do. This guys best days are behind him and he was absolutely part of the problem in Indy. If you just woke up from being in a coma for a year you wouldn't even know Rhule is gone. It is so bad it's legitimate to ask if Tepper is calling in plays like Davis used to do.
  19. The media is already comparing him to Lance? Damn that is brutal.
  20. He is averaging 4.2 yards a throw and is third worst ever after 2 games. Carolina Panthers Bryce Young is still struggling: The learning curve for Young is going to be steeper than initially thought. Playing a good Saints defense, Young finished 22 of 33 for 153 yards and a touchdown (87.1 rating), but his yards per attempt is a major concern. Young is averaging 4.2 yards per attempt through his first two career games, the third lowest in NFL history (only Kyle Boller and Billy Joe Tolliver are lower). His 299 passing yards are the fewest by a No. 1 pick in his first two career starts since Alex Smith in 2005. This doesn't mean Young can't get better, but a poor offensive line and so-so wide receivers aren't helping him succeed. Link From Payton and Brees to Alex Smith and Kyle Boller territory. But he isn't part of the peoblem...
