Jeudy is the most realistic option says PFF (& bye-bye to Burns)
Waldo replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
I hope the non-locals do anyways. I get the locals having to backdown a little but the others should be tearing into these people. 'Do pointguards score many TDs either' or 'Does you wife have any work history that would qualify her to help in the hiring or drafting processes' or hell 'Is any one on the hotseat for drafting a guy who is so physically limited'. That would be fun -

It doesn't make it any more acceptable. Then it just flips to 'all we could get was Jeudy' BS. That is little more than doing anything because they can't do something good. -
Dementia would actually explain a lot

What Is It Going To Take For More Agressive Playcalling????

A time machine -
And also paying those guys which I am sure does not play into the equation a little. There is a fee to relocate that goes into other owner's pockets. Look up the Rams/Chargers processes. Moving the team from NC to Germany would be what they have been drooling over since they started playing games in London.

They didn't shore up the D but did add a good safety. Plus they switched from last years scheme, which should take a little time at best. The team had depth issues and the schem changes knocked down some of what was positives last year. Either way, this team wasn't just a QB away. I think without 'the trade' and Dalton level QB they would still have a hard time breaking .500 this year. The schedule vs last year is just brutal coming up. That D vs tge Dolphins is going to be interesting to gauge their quality.

Put it on Young's back when that poor thing can barely hold up his pads and uniform? Sure, why not lol

Panthers are positioned very well for 2024 and on
Waldo replied to Lame Duck's topic in Carolina Panthers
It just sounded like they wanted him to do what Frank would and he balked. Ben just walked away and said no to everyone. And Frank is absolutely looking like a bigger part of the Indy mess then his fans would admit. They blamed everyone else yet here he is in peak form doing so much worse. -

After talking to us. Add to the things they were saing about Steichen and it raises further questions about what they were saying in the hiring process. -
For fun, show what we got in return next to that and then tell me Fritterer was ever qualified for the job...

For the fans still dumb enough wasting your time going to the games.

That would pretty much be the only thing left with the tickets that are not selling... -
It's a Frank thing he does. It was known when they hired him. Next he fires Brown after blaming him while continuing to call plays. Sorry but I expect that to continue until he is fired, even if it's next year.

Pushing Nicole into the process this year. Ignoring past failures and mistakes. Whatever the fug they were doing during coach interviews that turned any good candidates away and left us with Frank the savior. Whatever the fug they were looking at when scouting QBs with the pack of losers they hired. It's bad and it doesn't look like anything but this is the new normal for the Panthers. Rhule was just the new standard and the guy who is NFL quality is now even worse. The GM makes Hurney look responsible and semicompetent. I really dislike Tepper and I am at the point of almost pulling agaisnt the team just to watch him fail more since that would be thr only joy left for the Panthers to give. That is a feeling I have been fighting all year.

With the way they were talking before the season, I still think they think it's all salvageable. They can't trade Burns and still be in serious comeback mode. The talk about Tepper being pissed and the team still being all in on Young backs that. Trading Burns at this point makes the most sense due to it being past the point of no return without the franchise tag which I'm sure Burns will love. Until I hear Burns is on the table or they are switching to rebuild mode they are still in the same Hurney special 'one move away and make magic' mode.
