On to the next slaughter lol
-
The CBs were never reliable health wise. There is no 'if he was healthy' at this point for Horn because not being available is the norm for him. The OGs? Some help probably but not enough. No one seems to be playing great and coaching is concerning well past the mistakes of roster building.

It's Tepper so it's possible. At least the rest of the NFL would have seen it coming
-
The combine would have destroyed his value.
-
Not doing any drills was a giant red flag and should have pushed him bellow the other 2 QBs alone. If he could have put up half decent measurables none of this would be this bad but he knew what was up. Im sure his agent used the words 'can only lose value'. They practice all of that to perform better, they knew.

If he would have done the combine drills this would never have happened so it seems like a group effort from my seat...

He was selling whatever they wanted to buy, same a Rhule. 'His plan seperated him' or whatever the quote was floating around. The people hiring are chasing fantasies and the young and better qualified people were selling reality so they ended up with another dud and probably still have no idea how this all happened again. This is the second time and is now a tendency and the norm until they prove otherwise. Mostly from fans was the Rhule comparisions, which is stunning he is doing worse at the end of it all.

SS for at least a game. If he can't make it there then I'm not sure where he fits in the NFL regardless of talent.
-
Trade block or just more garbage management? The mystery continues. Whatever the master plan is, I am not expecting good things.
-
This might as well be easter because the lambs are lining up themselves for slaughter. No idea who is first but I don't see how there is just 1 with this many games left in the season.
-
I see them as the root. I have seen ownership sink a business and ruin anything good. It's the only thing consistent throughout and that makes sense. Sadly I can't belive it has anything to do with luck at this point. The way people perform for them is the most concerning part. It's like they get everyones worst. Like an evil version of management with the goatee and all lol. I think the toxic crap that made him a billionaire is the biggist poop in the mix. It doesn't work in football and he has not leanred anything else yet. Thus my only hope is in a consultant that will call his BS and show him something else. Frank has been on a downward spiral the last 3 years. Looks like he is reaching for his rock bottom and he got a lot of passes for crap he shouldn't have in that time. It really is a mess. After Rhule this is so not typical so the usual plan is already out the window.
-
I do not know but I do want to see what his value is at this point. Letting him get to the franchise tag is so stupid but I kind of expect it from this crew.
-
You can let Frank float to the end of the year while the new GM gets plenty of work in and the new coach search is underway. Frank not letting go of playcalling should be the line of firing at this point. I do agree the new GM shouldn't be foreced to work with Frank and I would hope he has some serious connections he wants to work with.

I am not having a hard time at all. It's all just more of the same awful at this point. I think the only differences are in fans heads. I never saw it as anything different and others had hope. I'm truely am sorry for what they did to those fans but we are all coming back to the same crap as the last 4 years minus last year's too short vacation of dreams.

It's a bad situation. Whatever the Teppers were looking for was the foundation of how it went bad. Bryce at #1, Fritterer (was always bad IMO) vision of the roster, letting Frank stay the playcaller and whatever else they were trying to do sank this ship at conception. We just don't know the real details. It's also the same kind of out of control mess as when Rhule was here so they are obviously running that kind of show. The circus thing fits and the Teppers are absolutely the ringleaders and setting the pace.

Observer: Is it time for Panthers to go to Andy Dalton?
Waldo replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
They lose either way. Play Bryce and keep proving the obvious or play Dalton win a game or 2 which just makes option one look that much worse. There are much larger decisions within the organization that need to happen first for that one to possibly carry anything good attached to it so just keep playing Bryce so there can be no doubt about what he is and keep the Dalton option open for the near future. -
None of this looks like it has anything to do with luck. It's a competence issue and it starts with ownership. They built this all willingly.
-
I agree and good for him. The next best move for the Panthers is a crew that will show they can be competent next year and they are going to have to work with a lot of prove it guys given the situation. There isn't a fast fix for this team and even if we still had the #1 coming up there is no sign yet they wouldn't fug it up again.
-
Just ask for a trade and speed this all up. This team is going no where and do you really want to get paid to wallow in the mud with the rest of this mess for years when you could be contending and still getting paid? It's OK. Be a professional and put your career over this dead end. I do wonder what his stats would look like as an edge rusher on a loaded D when he isn't close to the best player.
-
I'm not at all convinced that Bryce would look much better in SF. Lance didn't and he had a ton more potential than Bryce ever will. Bryce's issues are he isn't an NFL talent. Too little physically and too little physical talent. It all shows on game day.
-
I wish. I need to see what way they will go now. Not the way I want them to go but an actual move that signifies a direction change. Worst case, they try and fix the situation. Best case, Fritterer is fired and a consultant is brought in. The stuff in the middle doesn't look too good considering the recent past. No one in house is looking competent.

Great interim coach and not a great long term answer. Running off Ben Johnson and stiff arming Steichen rank way higher on my list of better options. Frank was never a good option. Tepper couldn't see it and some fans couldn't either. Whatever he agreed to that Ben balked at is what I want to know. Whatever it was, it was real bad.
