Again asking that dummy to do something coherent business or football wise is a stretch IMO. Anything could happen but IMO the best outcome is she sells immediately.
-
Ask Benson's kids that. They lost that fight. The NFL requires a secession plan and Tepper made her it.
-
She is so dumb and has no meaningful background in anything that she will probably be bankrupt in a decade after he passes. Even G Benson ran a business before meeting her 3rd husband the NFL owner. Best case she sales before then.

Are we low-key tanking? Donnelly thinks we're half-tanking.
Waldo replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
I wish. They would have been an improvement at every position but Brown's. -
Nicole Tepper on the proudest moment since owning the team….
Waldo replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Lol at putting a mic in front of her. It just shows how little Tepper has learned after making himself look like a fool in front of mics for years. All they had to do was STFU and count their money. Nope. They just both had to be so hateable. -

They are not tanking. Tepper has tried to win every year here with disastrous results. This will be more of that. If they were tanking with any kind of solid plan they would be dumping contracts and players for youngins to train and 2025 picks. It's not a rebuild or and it's not a tank job, it's just a poorly run team doing the same thing they have under this ownership. As for using the 2 cut players as proof of tanking...Hurst was cut because he is done and shouldn't play anymore while Jackson was way overpaid and did free up something. Trade Burns and Moton while getting rid of dead weight like Sanders by eating tons of cap and getting 2025 draft capital in return. That would be tanking. Free agency hasn't started and they can't trade away dead weight so nothing can be proved yet but it won't be a real rebuild or tank. Now another unintentional tank is on the table. Years of recent proof of how that happens here. -
Even if they ate all of his cap I still don't think anyone would trade for him. That sums of DJax at this point.

Would keeping Burns require another big D-line addition?
Waldo replied to Donald LaFell's topic in Carolina Panthers
Burns was built to be a #2. So yes go find a true beast DE or Edge and let Burns rack up sacks as the other guy gets doubled and still produces more. -
LoL. Peppers and Gross were elite. Burns and Luvu are not. Luvu is good but not great. Burns should be traded for any picks they can get. Top FAs, or any really, on bloated contracts fixes nothing for this team. Find prove it guys that are this year's Luvu from 2021 and draft well. Anything else is a hard fail of them not learning a damn thing and still trying to fix what is obviously broken vs building something longterm not broken.

I hope they get those 2 first or he refuses to show up if they can't trade him. Him on a long term deal is worst case scenario...which means it will happen and it will be another hilarious epic fail. I just don't see why anyone would spend 2 1st on Burns. He just isn't worth it.

Rizzuti & USA Today on prospects we've talked with
Waldo replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Sanders is a wasted roster spot, might as well clean up that mess and create a spot for someoneworth trying to play in a run first offense. Not a lot of CBs which is hilarious with them finally ditching Jackson and Horn being unavailable more than half the time. -
Panthers plan to renegotiate the deal for RT Taylor Moton
Waldo replied to Leeroy Jenkins Ph.D.'s topic in Carolina Panthers
Anyone's value in the NFL can bottom out pretty quickly. It's needless and given the recent hitory of the team that is not great to hear. -
Panthers plan to renegotiate the deal for RT Taylor Moton
Waldo replied to Leeroy Jenkins Ph.D.'s topic in Carolina Panthers
The do it after this year. What a perfect year to clear half of his current deal before extending him on his last year...or not. He will be 30 before the season starts. No need to do anything which would be better for next year also. -

Lol they are still trying to win this year and the people in charge may be new but they are doing the same stupid stuff. SSDD. -
Still a better QB than the Panthers have on their roster lol Yeah I would rather watch Dalton but he hasn't thrown for 3000 yards since 2019.
-
Did you not read about the part of using the Panthers to get a better deal with other teams? They can still get paid and not be on a 2 win team.
-
This team will be ruthlessly used to up FA's prices with other teams this year...if their agents are smart. Why would you overpay someone who doesn't want to win? And yes that is what coming here would mean. It's lose-lose on the top tier guys. They should be targeting guys who need to prove themselves or need playing time or both. The top shelf guys are a waste of time.
-
So Morgan is as brain dead as his last boss... Some people never learn. Trying to turn that guy into a foundational piece of the roster is a waste of time. But this will be the year he finally proves how amazing he is... I hope he holds out. That is about the best he can bring to the table at this point. It would be hilarious and just speed up the fall of this build. Win-win. And yeah those idiots are still not ready for a serious rebuild.

Here come the Redskins (*nothing piece MSN article)
Waldo replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
Redskins was a trash name but the Commies is just lame. Change the name for sure but WTF is so much better than the Redskins or the Commanders. -
Marvin Harrison Jr skips his media presser
Waldo replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
I honestly miss guys who would just refuse to talk to the media. Lynch was the last I can remember but I think Payton's oline wouldn't either back in the day in Indy. Given his pedigree I am guessing this is a strategy he is playing, whatever it really is. When I read about what Williams is doing that sounds like a big mess and a hard pass, this isn't that. I bet he turns down visits too. Must be nice to be able to work that system. -
Carolina Panthers raise ticket prices by 4% for the 2024 season
Waldo replied to Billy Love's topic in Carolina Panthers
That is my thought. I tried to sell, I sure as hell am not going to any games so the credit hit takes 7 years and a bunch of blocked calls. Easy call -

Waldo replied to Billy Love's topic in Carolina Panthers
I can't even sell my PSLs for the price of fees and taxes, $500. It's almost walking time vs paying for the last year. -
They are still trying to win this year, it's just around a terrible QB and little else. They are trying to win every year. They are playing with Burns at 27 a year vs the 30ish he wants. Tanking would be trading that mess and then training a rookie in a junk year. Just getting a mediocre QB and pulling it up to 6-8 wins is a lot more realistic then thinking they will be able to tank and then do anything with that capital given the circumstances. The damn GM got his job after being an assistant putz on a 2 win team because the whiffy owner liked him. Even unintentionally tanking still ends up with the same idiots that did that magical feat suddenly turning it around and profiting from an unintentional tank. There just is no win there. I haven't been watching the crap on the field outside of 1 game I went to in Tampa anyways, it's unwatchable. I have been laughing while watching it all burn, that is what value the Panthers bring these days. It's peaceful and fun. Not even mad anymore, I am laughing too hard and enjoying that show because the football isn't viewable anymore. If this team wasn't so poorly run for long enough to not be able to pretend it's not then you would be 100% right but then it would also be closer to mediocre regardless of the busting QB because the rest of the roster wouldn't be such a joke either. I'm embracing nothing but a mental lawn chair and a stick with a marshmallow on it to roast over the soul of what used to be the panthers that just look like a heap of melting plastic on fire at this point.
