  1. He does stack up yards in garbage time. But with the Broncos running well they should eat up most of that time and shrink his usual stat padding. I say under 100 given that situation. Their D will feast on him all day so it could be an implosion day with nowhere to hid the fact of what he is in the NFL.
  2. They could have...before the OG deals and any other free agent moves. Just trade him or cut him as a june 1st designation and then start building the team for 2024.
  3. Yeah Morgan was in the room when they drafted him last year so good luck with that. If you think him sticking around didn't involve a plan to build up Bryce than you're crazy. They should have fired Morgan too and just hired sane people without the Young mistake hanging over them before they even began...
  4. It was bad but to hit that 3 second average shows not evwrytime...even if it was bad when it epically failed.
  5. And yet their average time to throw was almost 3 seconds even with all those blown plays... This year it was just obvious with better OG play and none of the blown plays.
  6. A pick the first series and then the same old mess. I just don't think he can play to a backup level in the NFL. He doesn't have the tools to play outside of the pocket like he wants to and he is incapable of playing inside of a pocket. Denver should just play tight and blitz the hell out of him.
  7. This crew hasn't shown they have figured out who the core should be that's here now. I just hope the talk of keeping Chubba was all PR speak because him and Johnson are about the only 2 guys with value, both of those 2 should be walking at worst so why not. Those are not going to be core guys and this team needs to eat a bunch of bad contracts or they will be showing up with next with mostly the same mistakes.
  8. Cam Ward as it stands now that's still too early. Pass rusher in free agency but man do I hope they don't buy the most expensive guy. A great GM can find that production for less and that won't be on day 1 in the usual overpaying frenzy.
  9. They can and should when the situation dictates it's the right move. They have one bad RB contract they meed to eat, just blew a 2nd on a guy who they rave about and adding another expensive RB contract is a bad move. The other 2 moves dictate it's the right call and they need to pray that Brooks if legit and also being in another RB once they dump Sanders. Also maybe if they didn't blow so much on OGs it would be an option but given the state of the D and the already committed cap it's 100% the right move to not pay Hubbard. The problem was never about getting picks for players, except Moore and that stupid trade, it's the people picking the players. That can also be addressed and improved.
  10. I really don't like being worse than the Jets lately. They are the next worst team in the Tepper error and it stinks. Darnold is on a 1 year deal in a perfect situation for him. We didn't use him well, as the bridge he could be, but we sure are not built for him to succeed here now. Of all of the terrible choices and outcomes he isn't very high on my list when compared to the rest of the poo show.
  11. Ride in on a unicorn, look like an actual NFL player in game and then ride off the field on Santa's sleigh after a win...because all of that is a fantasy. The real win would be his last game in a Panther uniform. IR from a bruised career would be the win I desperately need to make this nightmare end.
  12. If you want to draft better then we need new people. I'm more impressed with the 3rd rounders than the first 2. That is not good or good enough.
  13. After he plays again this season we are going to have to cut him. He will not make the 53 so expect another camp and some preseason matchups agaisnt #3s to try and drum up a trade which won't happen.
  14. The only positive with Young playing would be him finding his way to IR. Tweak something and that wasted roster spot opens up. That's all I have. He is terrible and I hope whatever it takes to have less of him moving forward happens. I exhausted with his dead weight hanging over the team since he showed up. Just make it end
  15. He is going to be murdered. I might actually watch just to see that.
  16. Cleaning house with tradable guys would probably show a commitment to the current crew, or most of them, for next year. As it stands these guys look like they could be fired but they also earned that. It was always a patch job with the retool anyways. That lasted 2 games and there hasn't been much built except the injury report. Not selling on guys with contracts coming up that we shouldn't afford because they are not core players or players we can depend upon at a much higher rate of pay then I think it looks like the entire crew could be on the hot seat. I'm fine with that, even with the recent history. These guys are not team bulders. They are the D squad that was kept around to prop up Young. No reason to get behind that or more of that.
  17. I don't think the people in charge are capable of building a core or anything much around it. This team is going to need to draft really well while also building a roster that has the kind of structure that puts people in places to succeed. Looking at the D it is a joke, I have no idea why we brought in so many duds the last 2 years. The offense will lose some guys and still needs some big pieces to not regress while not going out and spending like drunk clowns in free agency. I just don't see the current crew pulling that off.
  18. Good. Churn and hope to find someone more playable. I hope they get through the entire NFL PS list looking for crumbs.
  19. Space on our cap? Am I missing something on that end? Look I would love to ship him off but they don't we don't have the cap space and there are no good ways create it.
  20. It's all about his value. It only goes down if they play him. If he was the answer they would be playing him. That's it. Dalton is 37 in a week and headed towards retirement. If you remember him in NO then none of this is a surprise even with the fun Raiders game. Young isn't playable, they are trying some reps but it still looks really bad. He is already gone and a trade is better than a cut but he won't make it to the 53 next year. They will take a swing at a QB and they need a vet so they have options and CYA. We are picking 1 or 2. There is zero space in that equation for Young. I wasn't trying to come off as belittling or talking down to you. If I did I apologize but it's all the truth. If they aren't playing him after that last game it's obvious that is not the path. DC saying it's all about Dalton just confirms it.
  21. Nope. If that was true they would be playing him. They are not. Your missing the big picture. If they could move him they would. He has no future here and that's obviously what's going on. They are prepping for 2025 by playing Dalton. Young brings nothing positive to the table by playing. That's the reality even if you can't see it. That was how bad it was when guys were still healthy around here the first 2 games. It's unemotional the right call. He is a bust and no one in their right mind would tie their careers to him after working with him. DC bailed after 2 games and he is the QB whisperer (sarcasm).
