Take what you can get and this might be the only enjoyment to be had out of this season so have at it as much as you want.

Everyone should have seen the disaster around Bryce coming
Waldo replied to t96's topic in Carolina Panthers
That why I said meh. Better than Tepper but who isn't? I'm not pinning for competitive every other year. For the money people pay this team they need to do better. There were good times but they were short lived and when JR got exposed it's hard for me to think kindly back on it all even if some spots were freaking sweet. I don't think we have seen a glimmer of meaningful change yet. Every retool avoids the massive rebuild they need from the holes they keep digging making terrible choices. That includes cleaning house IMO. -

Meh JR had his positives but he also was a tightwad that made his team practice in a hotel ballroom in the playoffs. Tepper makes most owners of professional sports look good. He is in Snyder zone without the non-football issues which is amazing really. I'm not missing JR, I'm missing the owner we never had yet. -

CMC was banged up for the 49ers 1st game this year, he held himself out of practice the day before I think they said. He is a stud but he does get dinged up often. I agree about Burns but then Tepper has to fire Rhule after year 2 or it wouldn't matter anyways with how that crew used him. -
Bryce could be a future cautionary tale...

Young can't pick them up. Even the announcers were blaming him on those. Said it's basic stuff you expect to see a 2nd year guy grasp. They also said they were blitzing more than normal but it was effective. -

Not if they have to run the offense out of the spread and shotgun the entire time just so Young can see some of the field. Not being able to run under center only leaves a quick spread offense to run and that is not DC's bag. Basically what NE ran early with TB and even they had some stuff under center. -
I came to see this Hope and if she had any personality. There is no signs of hope anywhere. The best player is now hurt and this entire build is a joke. Panther's Hope

I'm still not sure he survived the last game. If you told me that was his ghost I would believe it.

More college hype. That's how we got Young. It's just easier to see when it's an attitude problem that stands out like that. -
How surpised were you at how the team looked(Game 1 Edition)?
Waldo replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
1 - I knew it was going to be bad but not that bad. The team is weak and got bullied. Morgan looks like a clown and DC like a guy who has never coached in the NFL before. They took a jab to the face on all 3 phases of the game and got ragdolled after that. That dawg has no fight in it lol -
Better catch him in a racist rant, harassing employees or stealing from the other owners because that the only way that's happening. Being a bad owner isn't something the NFL cares about becaude the other owners win more.

Derrick Brown potential season ending knee injury
Waldo replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
BS. Carr helped Carr himself. In both cases their playing style is a train wreck in the NFL. That 1st interception was from the pocket in the new scheme and it melted down in 1 play. -

It's just another part of it all in the end. Having a HC and GM report directly to him will not end up any differently. Being a terrible manager is why those people cycle out. On the football side he was directly involved but this year he was more aware and worked the PR side, that was the only real difference. His thing worked in a hedge fund and is a clown show in the NFL. I don't think he could run a Bojangles at this point.
-
There is nothing he could work on to really change anything anyways. He can't see and he doesn't have the physical tools to play a different type of game. I guess he learned from Riech's example last year and showed up to get his check this year while taking an embarrassing beating along the way.

Does being a terrible at hiring and managing count because it's an obvious yes. Morgan and DC wouldn't be here otherwise. See Caldwell in the coaching search to cancel out the consultants as an easy example.

Who are You Drafting with the #1 Pick of 2025???
Waldo replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ehat is the difference in keeping DC next year vs Morgan this year? I can keep going but it's a pattern. It's house cleaning time in Carolina if he doesn't show a lot in the next 16 games. He looks like a yes man so I'm fine with dumping that dead weight. -

Waldo replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
He was always built for school ball and NFL practice. I said it when we traded up to #1. He was never going to be it. I have no tolerance for the people carrying on with the charade f9r Tepper. People here are already making excuses for them and they are as much of the problem as Tepper by feeding his BS and digging the hole deeper for him. They took the job of the charade so fug them all at this point. They do have the rest of the season to prove something but it's hard to scrape hope together for people that thought this had a chance of working. -

If it's Morgan picking I don't think it will matter. -

It's already over, some people just can't see it. Yesterday was the first nail in the offical process. Last year they fitted the coffin. -
Best and worst Performances from Saints Game
Waldo replied to Chad_Cota's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was screaming to let other teams take a shot at him when they blocked that. People here were ready for him to take over when DC craped the bed from not being ready. LoL -
Same shite different year. It wasn't Hurney 2.0. Them it wasn't Rhule but Brady. Then it was Rhule and not Fritterer. Then it was Fritterer and not Morgan. Now it's not DC? Yes he is part of the problem and hasn't earned anything and does have to justify his contract and real reasons he should stay. He isn't the only problem but to say he has done a good job is complete BS. The team is unprepared and he doesn't look like he has a clue once the cheerleader shtick stops working.
