  1. The ownership in Seattle is reported to be way hands off. It was on PFT the other day and I have heard those rumors for some time.
  2. If we can't trade for Watson or draft one, then its whoever is a free agent after the draft on a 1 year deal. Fug wasting any value on another dud.
  3. Has he by chance picked up a crack habit during the pandemic? I'm guessing this is going to be a really off offseason. Usually after the combine things begin to settle.
  4. Or you have the complete opposite in Seattle where ownership is a ghost and the lack of any pressure has allowed the staff to put it on cruise control and stagnate while they coast on Wilson's production. Best option is ownership that is hands off micro managing but still let's the staff know to produce or else. Tepper doesn't know anything meaningful about football. Either he hired well or he will fail.
  5. How about a bunch of evil mistakes, pick one?
  6. This isn't the lesser of two evils, it's a bunch of fails. These options are how people deserve to get fired.
  7. So is Easterby's hand up his butt or is this puppet a total animatronic?
  8. Terrible news. Has Reid even been charged or sued yet?
  9. People who work in a NFL organization sometimes. Easterby and Hurney are 2 easy targets proving we can in fact criticize professionals. The flip side is impressive but man some of the NFL owners have hired some idiots over the years, or just put OK people in really bad spots. As far as Peter King or any media people? Hell yeah we can. Two words, David Newton. Getting paid for it doesn't make that person an expert, just employed. I'm still hoping Rhule and Co can be to team building what they are to team coaching. Fingers crossed.
  10. I have a Mac Jones visit me every morning after some coffee. In all seriousness, I look forward to playing against him. I'm hoping Atlanta falls in love.
  11. I just don't know what we are getting from Fritters. I do know he is on the clock and I don't give a poop about training wheels with him.
  12. We should take whatever they are offering. Damn the 49ers were team building well but they don't look capable of finding a good QB. Jimmy G to Teddy 2 Gloves. So much fail.
  13. 1 year of guaranteed money on that deal. He isn't a long term answer at the price he thinks he is worth. This is why you draft rookies in the first, avoid overpaying and being chained to a guy like Dak. I am guessing someone will overpay and make that mistake, I just hope it's not us.
  14. He can look good in the pocket, he can move outside the pocket and he has a really high ceiling. The power running would only be a positive only in the playoffs where it is worth it. We have a coaching staff that can coach up, I'm not scared. Everythig I have seen on him indicates he also has it mentally he just needs more reps and time that he hasn't had yet. I love all of that. He isn't polished and I'm fine with that. So much potential and I would have a blast watching him achive it. I would rather have a drafted QB with potential then one with a lower ceiling that they are closer to when coming into the NFL, ohh hello Teddy lol safe fail. As I have said before, if Ron or Fox were here I would take a hard pass on a bad fit.
  15. I don't care about LBer at all. We have Chinn and Carter, I would be cool with some one year fillers. Build a beastly Dline and DBs and get cheap LBers.
  16. A lot of that will be filled by 1 year free agents because of the volume of need. No matter what we do this year we are not contenders nor fill all of our holes adequately. Getting a QB, an oline and a CB puts us in a position to build on going forward.
  17. Those are thr biggest needs. There are a lot of places we could improve but those 3 are key.
  18. QB, Oline and then CB. Anything else is dumb. We saw this with Cam. Get a better oline.
  19. QB in the 1st and oline early and often. If Watson then the 2nd part only.
  20. 3 1st and at least 1 top 5 player? And more... I would rather have a rookie. I'm with you but Fields is slipping for me.
  21. The higher Watson's price is the more I want Lance. I love Watson but the price is too damn high right now.
  22. Yup, just figured Teddy had no value to the Texans. Might have to give up draft capital to unload him, fug that. Meh on the rest. The better the player the more the Texans will have to pay anyways, outside of Brown and Chinn who are going into the 2nd year, the rest would start asking for a new contract after a trade. If a team trades for you they either want you and will pay or your just filler to get it done. Teddy would be filler but the rest could be an upgrade for the Texans. I'm hoping for the draft anyways, Watson's price is just too damn high right now and the players I would like to see traded just don't have great value in this trade.
