Rhule got the run of the place. This crew was tied to Young and that choice. The fact is they have done a poor job with a few sprinkles of decent mixed in. Frank never made sense. Old, run down and set in his way. Mix in a horrendous approach to filling out his staff and the worst GM in Teppers ear was a mess that absolutely deserved a one and done for all staff and directions. This build is just an extension of the Young debacle playing out with the low quality options attached to that choice. DC was never getting away from Young. That's why he was brought in and the fantasy he would be able to move one after failing was a fan made. Dude is taking huge hits and it's only week 2 lol

Give those people their room to work without stupid Tepper strings attached to coaches or players and the money will be enough IMO. They only decline when they know they can't make it work with the other stuff he is pushing. So far we still have our top 5 pick and so little to tie to anyone next year at the rate they are going. It's a big if for Tepper because this cycle was always about proping up the unprepared while keeping people around that should have gone after 2023.

We should wait until next year unfortunately. The crippling choice would be using very valuable picks on this mess.

We couldn't get anyone after being tied to Young and pissing away too any picks...one a first overall. The entire he 'fires to fast so he had to settle' was always BS. It was because he wouldn't let Young fail and wanted to build around him so we ended up with the dregs at GM and HC. He in fact didn't fire either Morgan or Evero which has turned into the mistake. If he let so eone else come in and proclaim Young a mistake or bring in competition and not friendly Dalton than it would have been different options IMO. Those guys walked when they saw what Morgan and DC signed up for and that's why they are a high quality people.

That's even more distasteful than just playing Young out regardless. I would rather see Hooker play than Morgan trade for enough wins to take us out of QB picking territory. This is a top 5 picking team without a trade.

The entire 'him and Morgan are building the team up for the next QB' take is coming apart already. The failure to bring in meaningful talent at #2 while resigning a washed Dalton will be their fatal mistake. No way to justify those 2 picking the next QB while wasting time on Plumber and Hooker while simultaneously building a D for Evero. By the end of the year they will either limp into the offseason losers regressing or already have lost the locker room. No idea where it falls i that spectrum but they all should be fired by the end of the season. Hell go fire Evero and Morgan today.

I don't know what's worse his coaching or what he built. His guys are maximum suck and I don't think they can clear all the contracts to duds in one offseason. He has proven to be way overhyped and everyone that let him come back after last year should be axed this offseason...or sooner is fine too.

Seems like punching down watching these this year. I have always know he wasn't it and this year is just proving it without excuses. The messed up part for us all is they can't even bench him because the guy behind him can't be expected to play many games before getting injured or gassed. At this point just get it over with and let me escape the BS that will be every presser for him this season. Hell I would much rather watch DC and Morgan die internally up there. I have zero fugs left for them both because they actually signed up for this where at least Bryce can say he was drafted.

In a different way. His hands were on hiring someone to prop up his Young mistake and 2 suckers who thought they could stepped up while now damaging their professional careers. Read this morning thst there was friction between Young and DC after the game and I laughed. What offense or more could they add to make that dud look better? They should have known better but here they are and boy they look set up to take another beating with much less excuses available.

It's just a new stat they tried out. Not sure that one has any value so it could disappear quietly much like the test that Young took.

We have been so bad while thr commentary shines their best light but the product on the field made me laugh when lifting Young up in those games. It was more practice for the other teams or a wake up call to put more effort in.

Please stop hiding how bad the team is behind the little talent they have. That's how Burns got overhyped, hell they were doing it to Young after his 3 games in 2 years. Just eat the mess you made without making the next mess. No player is saving them from what they built. Deal with that.

Every one of 'those' games looked like the opponents were playing down and almost at practice level. It was a huge red flag to me but it was swept under the rug. The Jags played hard they wanted to win and they are not a good team. It's year 3 so it's going to be hard to spin this BS. With how bad the team is again we will see minimum effort from opponents at some point again so look put for it.

In school. I the NFL if the other team comes to play then he isn't even that. His good games came when the opponent was playing way down to the other team.

Yep he is a dud but do are the coaches and a bunch of players they wanted. Teams will bring minimum effort soon enough and then the big time throws will come back but it's all just BS. Time to start looking for a new crew and QB. Should be a good year for both vs last year. Yay?

Sure seems that way now but like with Haslin time changed things somewhat. I agree about groundhog day but me thinks this time is going to get ugly. The staff has no one but Dalton so they are going to have to eat that mistake. It's clear QB and DC are huge issues and time sure isn't fixing those. It's going to get ugly for them and that's the place where change happens. After 2023 Tepper did shift some, not nearly enough but there was a shift. That's all we have going forward, the hope taking a beating will force his hand. It's not great but it's all I got.

Picking up a coping team isn't a deep commitment IMO. Not at this point in bottom dwelling at least. There wasn't anyone willing to buy the team that was a good option IMO. Small market and needing a ton of infrastructure (freaking practice facilities lol) didn't lure great options. The DC group sure didn't show up when it went up for sale so we got the Haslim of the NFC. The NFL ownership structure stinks IMO but that isn't open betrayal but just another extremely wealth guy doing a poo job in an industry he didn't get rich in while making insane profits so pretty normal really

I get the motivation but they are going to make money anyways at this point. I can't tell another fan to hate football because this team is still really bad, not dirrectly at least. I get being mad tho but Im not going to get into it with anyone trying to find a better football experience since it's been non-existent around here for coming up on a decade soon enough. It's going to be a painful marathon again so there will be an endless supply of things to poo on as it creeps along. I don't hate the NFL. Tepper is a clown and I hope he eats poo so hard this year. Whatever it takes to make him want to change or force his hand.

Building a D around Evero has failed. I don't want to hear about how we are primed for 4-3 either. These guys haven't built jack on that side and I need to see these guys with at least a decent DC before I care about anyone outside of Brown and the 2 starting CBs. They O is playing well below their talent level. DC isn't good and his part in all this is garbage. Thankfully Tet isn't another XL but I can't even evaluate him beyond better than that dud with this level of QB play. Most of Young's check should automatically go to Chubba since he is doing all the real work. Much like with the D, the system blows but in thst side it's built around Young so it's not a shocker.

I hope they get roasted endlessly all year. It was fun listening to the announcers turn of the BS. I hope it piles up and Tepper finally gets tired of being a joke doing it his way.
