Probably but he sure wants it. It only takes one idiot and trading for big money and signing are two different values. Someone might take him up on it now that they don't have to trade for him.
-
Don't care about PFFs grades. 5'11" and wants big money...hard pass.

That's what I thought, Reed was garbage and Miller was solid backup quality. Thanks
-
He is backup quality but still the best OG we have at the moment. Good move. Edit: I'm blanking also, this was the RG and Reed was the LG correct? The RG was solid but the other was not playable.

I'm just waiting for the Texans to make it worse, it's like their go-to move at this point.

I don't care what Fields runs or that Lance didn't run, they are QBs. All the other stuff first. Footwork is completely coachable. I would still take Lance before Fields as it stands.
-
So this is why we saved a June cut.
-
Because they are desperate and finding good QBs is hard. And none of that is football so there is a hope they can get him until it's no longer an option. You must be a newbie because those are bad odds here. Either way, we need to focus on the draft because Watson is going to be tied up in court for a long while, regardless of what any of us thinks. Until that is wrapped up he isn't a viable option for any team.

REPORT: Panthers remain interested in Deshaun Watson trade
Waldo replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
So much of the Texans is laughable that it is believable. With this much going on and with how they are run, very poorly and not based on skills or facts, it will remain a possibility, even if it shouldn't be. Hell, Easterby would do it and just say go's told him to do it and it would be perfectly normal in that organization. I'm just surprised their new GM or HC hasn't quit, it's got to be hell working there. -
REPORT: Panthers remain interested in Deshaun Watson trade

No way we trade for Watson with the poop storm in full force. This would be a reckless and dumb move to make until his situation is resolved. -
I like the change of direction if we pickup olinemen that can actually do their jobs well. Maybe start with guys who will be healthy enough to be counted on. Going to be fun if they can pull it off.

I think we ar we migrating to a 3-3-5 but it's going to take another another year to get there. We look to be getting closer on the front side but just don't have enough DBs yet to show the ideal product. I expect another D that settles because of the prices this year with a lot more pressure up front. Hopefully a 2nd year CB makes a leap and we bring in a FS and starting CB next year. Edit: with Chinn and Reddick, I think we can run both.

Radioactive. It doesn't matter. He has to clear this up before he is an option for anyone.

After the process has sucked out enough money the tunes change. You can rack up 50k in legal bills in the blink of an eye and not make a dent in a case. Watson is looking at a lot more than that regardless of guilt. At some point you have to face your anger and ask yourself what it is worth. When you have millions and it it is know publicly, you have to CYA. I don't know if Watson is guilty but I do know he was dumb to allow this to be this bad in the least at this point.

Yall watch your cornbread up in here. It's all fair game to some I guess.

Yall fighting with a mental toddler. Use that ignore function and let that crap go back to the TempertantrumBox.

Burn it all down... I kid, I kid...mostly. Going to be rough if we miss out on 2-4 with the QBs. After that Mond is the only one that sounds at all intriguing. I don't even really want to think about it right now. Finish pro-days and see if it stays the same or shrinks.

ESPN's David Newton talks defensive flexibility
Waldo replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Another offseason working on upgrading the DBs and we will be a real powerhouse D. If I had to guess low teens this year, maybe even cracking top 10 depending on the DBs. Maybe one of the 2nd year CBs steps up and makes a big improvement from last year. -
I'm fine with Lance and if he bust it sets us back 1 year if he sucks that bad and we pick top 10 again. If he sucks and we keep him because 'we drafted a qb and can't be wrong' then Lance wouldn't be the biggest mistake in the room. If he has a rookie year with room to grow then that's fine. We are not winning anything that matters at this point. Getting to the playoffs is just the first step not the goal of all of this. Just play the rookie picked, take his hard knocks and see if we got the right guy. With a staff that can legit coach, I'm cool with this approach with a good rookie (hell no to Jones). Wilson is very expense to get, very expense to play, is not in his mid 20s and wants personnel control/input. Hell no. You are dead on, its a huge point for Tepper, Rhule and Fritters.

For the 8th pick or 3 first, more picks and 2 starters? For a guy who wants top pay and personel control, I'm a no on both honestly. Just draft one.
