The guys sticking with Young are the guys to discount at draft time. They are choosing to protect their egos vs looking at the film and admitting the truth. He is a bust and was always going to bust in the NFL. Send him to Miami and those guys are going to lose their crap with his play.

He deserves some blame but I'm still not 100% clear on what's going on behind the closed doors. Someone posted a video that had people breaking down DC's presser and there were some nuggets in there. We have to wait and see. But fug Tepper anyways. If the crowd wasn't chanting 'sell the team' would Young have been sat after game 2? IDK and I don't think it can be proved one way or the other yet. Given the history a lot of people have trust issues with him and his people which is fair. I'm just not going to go rabid because it's not fun and I am happy to see watchable Panther football even if it only last 1 quarter.

We should have upgraded that position because Dalton does not have a lot left even at 100% healthy. Thankfully the line should help him and DC had better run the ball.

To talk about dawgs and then not bring in a sneaky #3 option is ironic now. Bryce is who he always has been and it took 1 throw to take all the air out of his sails this year. He is broken because he knows it's him and trying to blame anyone else is futile. I don't see him having a Baker or Darnold resurgence. It's a crappy spot for everyone so I would be happy to see him shipped off somewhere for anything.

They never were which made the comp that much funnier. He looked like Wilson but playing on a much better team so his lack of talent stood out to me. I bet if Young went to NCstate he wouldn't have even been drafted in the 3rd like Wilson. Brees is an interesting study and he didn't look like a world beater his rookie year but the injury and trade while building himself up all played there parts. It was always a lazy comp, just like all his draft evaluations were lazy and looking comical at this point.

I'd take the 7th and not look back. He would make Tua look like a HoFer.

I'm excited to see how they all do. As long as Dalton isn't doing a 5 step drop from the gun we should be at least solid if not more.

It's unimaginable? Go see where Trey Lance is at these days. That's how bad this all is. The 49ers kept building and this team didn't so it feels different. This is a win for everyone but Young and his people.

They just said Brees because Wilson was in decline at that time so they said point guard. That's what it looks like to me.

They are not brining in anyone else. Either Dalton gets banged up or run down but Young will play again...not that much will change.

They are a bunch of Seattle guys, still are. They thought he was a Wilson. That was the point guard stuff. Young doesn't have the physical ability and looks more like the Wilson in Pittsburgh who is washed.

Brees didn't have to get a running start to throw it past 20 yards thst I ever saw.

Just like they said he was special in college. Even got an award for it. Yeah he's special alright.

His film made me wish he was Teddy. Teddy could see the throws he wouldn't make and it was obvious Young did not. Deep drop backs, unneeded rollouts when his line blocked well and the running into line gaps to launchpad it deep made Teddy look great. He was a prospect I really didn't like on any level.

He got away from slower line men. Had a line blocking giant holes for him to launchpad his deep throws to WR that already burnt CBs and still had to slow down to adjust to catch it. It keeps going. The combine should have dropped him. He hit weight but couldn't do the basic physical stuff. Not throwing at the combine is not unusual really but the other stuff needed to be seen and has been an issue. His personality combined with his limitations is a kiss of death to me. If he wad a physical freak would his mildness matter as much? Not really IMO. But without it he looks like a little tackling dummy in the NFL. Such a bad combo.

Bring in a younger vet and take a QB if there is one to be had. Can't let failure scare you into more failure. They can find D help in the rest of the draft and free agency. Be the team getting guys cheaply as they crash out of other's program and not the team watching them leave would be great.

This crew has the rest of the year to prove they should be making that pick. They jumped the first hurdle yesterday. The guys they brought in have to produce now or it is just more of the same and addition by subtraction.

His film showed what he was going to do in the NFL, it was there for all to see. Last year we had a bad talent evaluator at GM and too many hands on the wheel. It was a mess and it got out of hand. Not 1 person, included the ones still around, said enough about all the red flags. Those are the kind of people you can't keep around. They need to work together but that is the work of yes men.

I don't watch college ball at all. I watched 5 minuets of Bryce breakdowns when the trade went doen and knew he was going to bust at this level. It was all there to see and all the people raving about him baffled me completely. I think people get caught in that levels hype and can't get past the stuff that really doesn't matter in the NFL. I just see it as practice and would be fine looking at a guy who won half the games but was coachable into an NFL player. That level really does not produce the same quality product it used to and with NIL it looks to have taken another quality hit so teams have to look at being able to do what the schools didn't do in the player development. I don't think Stroud fixes all the issues last year, and there were some toxic ones, but he could make enough plays that we could have beat the Bucs 9 points in the last game that I actually sat through in Tampa.

Stroud here is better than the Bucs last year. The team might have imploded from the 'everyone has input' approach and games of knives they had going on but to think it would have looked the same with Stroud is a freaking hilarious struggle to come to grips with the Young effect. You don't need to know the numbers when you have the winning ticket in hand.

I have so many ideas but whatever is really going on in that house is everyone's guess. DC has not blown away his rookie year so far. The preseason was for practice and DC from the outside looking in played it scared. He rolled out the starters when he was under fire and they went up against backups. The only thing I can 100% confirm is he did not in fact discover a preseason hack.

Anyone that DC thinks he can coach up. It's prove it time. Throw a 6th or 7th at it and see what he can do with anyone else. Plumber seems like a tall ask and the entire 'why is he #3 anyways' conversation isn't the time yet but it's one injury away.

Every QB this board hates or loves is above 6'2" so it can't be all that bad
