  1. Great to hear. We can be done with both early this year and then see what Corral has. I'm sure the home crowd will pick up where it left off.
  2. I know that but that's what was said. Jesus, the team is run by morons what do you expect at this point? I think it was Rhule who said YGM and Haynes would be taking that spot. Don't get pissy with me about it, I think it is dumb too but that is where we are. Last year we played a bunch of reps where the DE's stood up in a roaming stance with 2 DTs on the line and it failed after the Dallas game.
  3. Hell if I know how they will use him, that scheme is a mess and failure to date IMO. They said YGM would be playing in tandem with Haynes where Reddick was. It's all more of the same. I actually like this player but I would rather see who is what that we already have and I don't think he fits well as a Reddick stand up DE/Edge LBer that we saw last year. Who knows with this crew.
  4. Just play YGM and see if he is the answer or of we need to draft one. Either the guys we have are depth and nothing more or not. This is a starter right? So he isn't the depth. The constant BS and directionlessness of this team is infuriating. Coach up some young talent and play them.
  5. I am not surprised at all. I'm happy for the guy but it wasn't a good contract for their team. IDK a reasonable contract for him sounds fine. Our 2nd round pick from last year showed nothing yet but I'm still hopeful in a prove it way. Maybe he could convince CMC to make that move by proving some production while healthy? Barkley up in NY is rourmored to be doing exactly what I wish CMC would do. Whatever, we got much bigger problems unfortunately.
  6. I just want to see Corral. We have survived Teddy and Sam as wasted years. We have had every QB pushed upon us in these rumors constantly. Duds being jettisoned by their teams that upgraded away from them at any cost, a serial pervert that is in fact just what he looks like and it's not even funny anymore. Just play Corral and draft a QB if he ain't it. Baker and Jimmy G are not getting this mess into the playoffs and if Corral isn't the answer we need to pick as high as possible. They traded for Sam and picked up his 5th. Well eat it or play Corral.
  7. I think we have 3 coaches that I hope stays next year at this point. I would say the roster is a wash with ups and downs, still don't have an answer yet at QB but we have been picking high so I would expect an improved roster from that alone. 3 years ago Ron, a factual better coach, was forced to do his 3-4 switch which left us bare and we are not some amazing powerhouse now either. Rhule is one of the highest paid HCs in the NFL and he is by far the worst in that comparison. The mistake was hiring a poor HC candidate but that is part for the course for a new owner in the NFL unfortunately. I see very little positive yet a lot of school level BS.
  8. We don't have to hope about such silly things, we have 2 years of proof of why he is a terrible NFL HC. The hate ain't about us, it really is him.
  9. He used the yearly cap increase stalling in a year to justify that approach but it has never happened...yet. It would almost be comical if it did one year let alone multiple years in a row. It just doesn't look like a right now issue.
  10. I couldn't agree more. I am not against the Loomis cap formula when you have the young core and a staff that is at the beginning of their winning window. I just think it is stupid to go full throttle when you are losing and wasting the cap you could spend on good free agents on what we blew it on last year (this year being unknown yet) while carring that dead weight forward unnecessarily. Bad teams have to overpay for much less quality and using the Loomis formula on that is just a face palm to me.
  11. It's a great movie for your new TV and it had a double meaning in this thread lol
  12. Sadly you will be right on thr first part
  13. Like last season, watch while I read or play some games. It's just not going to be good enough to require my full attention and life is too short. I'll go watch a game live when Corral starts and I'll cheer 'fire Rhule' for fun. Good people around me that have watched a lot of bad football over the years so they are more fun than the games themselves in these kind of years. The rest I will give to family or sell to opposing fans as it has been since Tepper got here. I'm a grown man, not a free cheerleader. This is a professional sport and not a highschool game. It's not that difficult.
  14. That died once Rhule stayed for me sadly but I won't get in your way. Changing QBs for an extra game or 2 extra of wins and still having another losing year means so little to me. I am on the player development train at this point. I hear you but even Tepper can't completely ignore another year of chanting to fire that turd. I fear you could be right but it keeps getting uglier and his ego will break from his circle jerk eventually.
  15. Meh, I feel thst way about Rhule. The stain of a QB getting him fired is a long 2nd at this point. Sam gets us there faster so I hope they belive in his great practices.
  16. Me too on Corral for 17. I am just trying to keep it realistic for a rookie 3rd and I think it would be fun to trot Sam out for a few just so we could see him prove what a terrible job they did with trading for him and his 5th while the line gels. I'm a hard pass on the other 2. I have had my fill of that quality of QB under Rhule and would rather just see Corral. If we have to play a dud QB again, just play Sam for fun and get it out if these people's systems. I don't want Baker anywhere near Corral honestly.
  17. I don't care about any of the guys who's agents would love for them to play here. Whatever warm body for 6 games and then play Corral. I'm fine with it being Sam. Not sure how much Jimmy has left anyways now and Baker is a mess waiting to move
