Just play 3 DTs at all times except 3rd and long. Burns and Reddick as Edge/DE.

Crap rolls or slides down hill. Owner, Coach and then Players. If the Players were coached right they would play better, If the Owner hires the right coach and applies healthy pressure & support the Coaches do their jobs well. Not much we can do about Ownership except what they do to themselves. If the players play like crap that is 100% on the coaches. It's literally their jobs to get the players prepared and focused or yank them when they are getting killed. That's like saying it's not a manager's job when employees are fugging up, it's their job to address it. Players are responsible for their play, not how the coaches prepare or manage them in games. That is equivalent to saying Gilmore was at fault for not deciding to cover McLaurin on his own. It's a dumb argument and a waste of your brain cells sir.

Only because the amazing Daley went down with an injury... Same old song with a different staff.
-
100% correct. Tepper brought in Cam. The poop rolled down to Rhule now and he and his staff took it right in the face.
-
Yeah he is a rookie. That was his worst play. Now do the guys that are vets... Hey they picked the 25 year old LT, play him. I'd rather know this year he is trash like the rest. Maybe we get a nice surprise. But yeah, he is going to do rookie things.

I would much rather build a better Oline, like at least 3 new starters. Then I would feel like talking about downfield. Looking like a new OC to boot and we might not need a new deep threat. Don't know, the staff is underperforming so hard it's difficult to evaluate the players. Guys started to catch once Sam left, who knows what would happen if we found one guy to play OG who wasn't awful.

I'm not comparing us to anything good, just ourselves where we didn't score for the better part of 4 games. That's improving where the D regressed hard. You are not wrong sir. It's still not good enough and I didn't intend to come off that way. Edit: Our QB was also on the team for a little over a week. I'm not happy with Brady but there is a curve we should see every week moving forward going up or else.
-
Absolutely. I'm not one to think you can only work on one thing at a time. Still, that D was on the field except one possession by the Offense in the 3rd? That's after a halftime breather...WTF was 6 of 13 on 3rd down and 2 for 2 on 4th down while we were 2 for 9 on 3rd down and 1 for 3 on 4th down. We failed everywhere really.

lol

The Oline coach should be fired. Let's see what anyone else can do with that mess. Bye Jackson, not the leader we hoped for and in no way do I want to see a big contract go that way. Yesterday was only one game if you discount the 3 years before. Brady better pick it up or it's sounding like he is going to be the sacrifice to Tepper going into year three. Still, it wasn't the Offense that lost that game and Rhule has spent two year building up a D that crumbled when the O was putting points on the board...

PFF is trash but BC passed the eye test and yet again raises the question: WTF are they thinking not starting this guy? He isn't a mauler but the LG getting killed isn't his fault. Looks good in pass protection and needs improvement in the run. Fantastic for a LT considering what the play has been there.

Rhule needs to earn his 3rd year. After the last game he has to come out and prove he can adapt and make it work week to week. He was gifted a QB to help his O score points. After Darnold that is a miracle. If he can't coach this team into taking a big step and string together some wins then doing a year 3 is just going through the motion and is a complete waste of time. Even Ron had to win 6 of the last 7 games in 2012 to earn a chance to come back and show he was Riverboat Ron in 2013. Nothing I have see from Rhule makes me belive he can finish strong this year. If that is the case, clean house and get better people. Maybe a halfway qualified staff this time. If he earns it I will be happy to see a year three. The offseason would be a huge test after the turd they laid this year.

Another Thing that Bugged Me About Rhule (Miller>Scott)
Waldo replied to Castavar's topic in Carolina Panthers
All of that. Scott over Miller. Gilmore saving Jackson from embarrassment. Ohh and add in BC over Daily because we all know Daily is a great LT...lol Huge mistakes that make me wonder WTF their evaluations are in personnel usage. -
That mom from Tennessee made an account here to talk crap about Cam? The Huddle is blowing up lol
-
He has my attention. Accountability should always be part of the conversation.

86 million dollars, and a 2nd and 4th round pick...
Waldo replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
Let's just start a games left countdown. A couple of more yesterday's and these turds will get flushed or they will see stands full of opposing fans like the home game before. It's really hard to belive they will improve enough to justify a 3rd year. Hell I would be excited about Tepper hiring a consultant to put over all the staff. No one is currently in house that I feel good about being in charge. Fug feelings, these guys just are not doing a good enough job. Watching your owner make the best personal decision this year is terrifying. -
Some of this is hilarious. You know what Rhule could do to earn my respect? Admit to the crap personnel and coaching decisions he has made that has left the fanbase ready to riot. And not Cam, that was very obviously not his call. Putting Miller in as a starter and Jackson one on one with McLaurin were huge mistakes. Jordan looks to be reverting to who he was in Cincinnati and is becoming a big problem. Will Daley start over BC again? We will see...
-
It's just a complete waste of time unless you want to bicker with a blind man. Jackson is fine, he just isn't the player some think him to be. And I think that now includes Rhule and Co. I'm interested in seeing if they Darnold him the next game or admit his strengths & weaknesses and put him in better positions going forward. To be continued...
-
Out in force and spectacularly obtuse today. Shake them pom-poms lol The skepticism is earned. Too early for hate but damn it's going to get ugly if they don't turn it around. Plenty of room for criticisms if it's reasonable.
-
He looked great. God I hope it was a fluke injury. We need that to be a hit and not a miss.
-
I never said he hasn't take strides. I stated clearly he is playing well but still not a shutdown corner. I'm happy for the guy, seriously. I am also not going to pretend he is a top CB in the NFL. That is ridiculous and lacks contexts. He is playing well (good and solid but not great due to his limitations) and has contributed does not equal being a top CB, that's what we were discussing. Being realistic isn't an attack on the guy, he is playing better than he ever has but the staff still needs to put him in a realistic and good position or yesterday will repeat.
-
Wasn't he CB #1 in those 2 games?
-
Umm Horn was better and Gilmore is better. He is a good but not great CB and the staff put him in a terrible spot yesterday where a HC that knows all of his weaknesses completely and thoroughly exploited them. That isn't on Jackson but it does back up what I said. I'm not trying to be mean to the guy, he is just not a top CB, he isn't a #1 and he is playing his balls off in a contract year. Still 3rd best CB on the roster and 2nd best healthy CB.
