  1. That's the thing, control in school is god level. The fugging towns will hide criminal activity for the team, it's that big. The NFL is a lot harder. Saban comes to mind, he was built for school. He was a very effective HC in the NFL, I just don't know enough details to be comfortable with him. I didn't like his GM who had the owner on a leash but the 49ers did some weird stuff back then. I have reservations and unless we start talking to him I'm not going to do any research. I would look at Leftwich, also a former player. It may be too soon but that's a guy with a small resume that I see much more positives than negatives. I also don't see potential bagage that is a red flag for a dysfunctional organization, which we sure look like right now. There would be options if we wanted to not be awful next year.
  2. They tried to trade him to Cleveland and then it all fell apart stuff really got weird. Players were having criminal charges and there were nasty leaks in house. I know not all of that was him but I do have reservations about the guy. A HC that doesn't or can't work well with others is not something I need more of at this time.
  3. I have no idea what worse could look like. I would take any man shaped stationary object over those two easily at this point.
  4. I think this was Baker's prove it year up there. Baker is basically a better Sam, lots of comparisons on Twitter. The Browns got Berry, the guy we should have fired Hurney for and they are making smarter moves since. I honestly am not sure on Baker's injury or who forced what. They could pick up a rookie and play Baker on his 5th year option next year while working on project rookie, I would. Or they could trade Baker to a sucker like us for what we gave up for Sam, I would if I was them at this point. Still they are competing while we are not. That stinks big time.
  5. I agree with all of that but they will still fug it up. It's what they do since the Stache bought them. They used to be a small market team now they are another clown show. They will most likely ruin their QB, waste their cap and still be picking top 5 next year.
  6. And we used to be mediocre. Stuff changes. We are the new Lions/Browns until we change that.
  7. Billboards are too expensive but if anyone in the area starts something as simple as painting their windows with Fire Rhule it would get noticed. Problem is Carolina fans don't work that hard. 1 year we had a motivated fan base and that year is long gone. Jags fans are buying clown outfits to wear to a game. We really could come up with a decent FU that these idiots would see all around town.
  8. Rhule is a salesman. Tepper is football illiterate. He understands the word 'Winning' and now 'Losing', that's all I have seen. The practice facility wasn't even a football decision, there are freaking colleges that have those and he looks to be turning it into some hefty profit. I would still guess it's his ego vs it being the contract. Or worse, maybe he liked Rhule because he saw himself in the young salesman and just doesn't want to do anything about it at this time. I really don't know yet, it's all on the table for me. None of it looks positive yet.
  9. There is no good argument for bringing Rhule back, zero and no the ultimate tank for 2023 is not a good argument. It is just more failure to heap on top of the massive pile of failures of the last 4 years. He should have been fired when he traded for Darnold, that was enough to say GTFO. It's obvious he is a trash coach in the NFL, wasting another year is just braindead stupidity.
  10. Except is is from PFF so it's basically watercooler talk level stuff. Hey my friend loves football and makes up grades, sometimes he is really close and now he gets paid to make stuff up. That is PFF, just something to talk about and is absolutely disputable. You are 100% right on this one but I wouldn't want Tepper basing big decisions off of PFF. I hope he doesn't even know it exists. I think the obvious crappy play from Rhule's guys proves enough. The OC thing is a disaster waiting to happen, Rhule will want to hire his person and Tepper might not have the ability to force it. His football skills are basically reduced to a sledgehammer in the shape of a bag of money. At least we get to laugh at it all.
  11. Given their owner that is a very fitting name
  12. Aren't the soldiers up in Chicago at their field? Are they going to oversee another team on game day? Isn't there a saying about too many captains on a ship? How about a pack of Generals with no soldiers? It's a fitting name for a shi$y organization with a shi$y owner.
  13. Browns and Lions are tending up shockingly. It's us, the Jets and the Jags and there is no need to wait till next year, we have arrived this year.
  14. They should have just kept it WTF. A team of Generals is very confusing. Does this promote the players to the same level as the coaches now?
  15. Brady's resume was incredibly green but also promising when we hired him. It was torpedoed by putting him with Rhule's guys and not at least one guy who would show him the ropes well before a game was ever called. I still think Brady makes it long term, he just needs more experience with a functional organization and not this pooshow. I don't know the dynamics but I think Rhule had more hands-on input this year when he had his 'guy' at QB and it started to turn bad in week 4. IDK how much where but some of that was on Brady before that, obviously not close to all of it. Maybe Brady will open up and let us know about his amazing time here with Rhule, that would be enlightening for sure.
  16. That is a lot of things going right when that is not how things have been going here. BC might be good enough but he isn't good enough to pass on another Slater. We would know for sure but Turdving has been out there when it's known how bad he is at LT. It's all so frustrating and just stupid football.
  17. I'll take an all-around LT for sure. We could get a C in the second on in most drafts but we pissed that away. Unless we trade away a player or piss away next years draft, we are not going to fix all of this mess they made this year.
  18. Rhule is like a Rivera without any of the experience. He wants to be that so bad but he can't even get it close to the zip code. Brady was just really green and should have had some old hands to help him but then again if Rhule did that he may have learned enough the 1st year to not implode in his the 2nd year.
