If Elflein and Boseman aren't the answer
Waldo replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was interested to see the free agents this year on the Oline. Boseman just being better than Elf was a huge part of that. We have skipped too many better players in the drafts recently to end up with Elf again. But hey we have the Sam Darnold at an exciting $19 million lol -
Great news...now do QB next because it is even more obvious already.

It's the Bucs to lose. The other 3 teams do not look good. I don’t think any of those 4 are contenders this year but the Bucs are the only one I see being able to pulloff a wining year. It wouldn't take much to make it a lot worse. Brady gets injured and it's nothing but a hot mess in the NFC South.

What do want to see more of in preseason week 2?
Waldo replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
More Corral than Sam and PJ. Elevate the 2nds at C and LT to 1st. Stuff that should have been done before the first game... -
Brutal but accurate. If TB stays healthy enough Bucs cake walk this division. If not the unlucky winner gets to be embarrassed in the playoffs and get a crappy pick for a losing year lol.

We made it through 1 preseason game before Rhule proves why he should never have been brought back for a 3rd year to fail. Whatever gets him fired and all but damn he is not an NFL quality coach. It just stinks watching us waste valuable years of guys on rookie contracts to this BS.

“That poo might work in college, but this is the NFL!”

Solid quetion but wrong timing. I'm guessing we can pick this one up around week 6 this year. We played the first preseason game so we are locked in for the most part. Once the delusional stuff goes out the window we have plenty of season left to discuss Rhule's shortcomings as an NFL coach. It's like talking about Santa infront of kids expect it's mostly grown men and their safespace. I'm letting Rhule do the heavey lifting on that one at this point, same as last year. -
It was a weird QB year for sure. I couldn't understand why he didn't get more love. I thought we would take a swing at him.
-
Watson threw for 1 of 5 which was a whooping 7 yards...it was a bigger deal for Lance than I would want to see us do right now but it could be a LOT worse lol. He is still super raw and he looks to be improving. He looked smart and motivated. It's a solid bet for them even if he busts.
-
He still has plenty of work left but that has to be exciting for their fans. I expect a rookie like year for him with plenty of mistakes but that is just pat of taking a young QB with a really high ceiling.
-
49ers are going to win a SB if he is what he looks like and can stay healthy.

DC has been putting out some garbage recently. The other Joker was awesome but the Snyderverse stuff is slowmo trash IMO

There is a lot of tension and friction in our society. Add in crap football and it's not at all surprising. I was surprised with how little Tepper did about the fighting in the stadium last year. Seemed like security was way under where they needed to be to maintain the idiot patrols. Our fanbase has only known losing for 3 years in a row and a 4th incoming. I expect a pooshow in-house again this year.
-
So how much does he really owe vs what he wants to pay? I guess we will hear when the creditors accept or denie the offer.

Both. Brady still got one more but that is all and it was by making a really smart move to a team just missing a QB. They were really good together for a long time. Coaches grow stagnant over time. BBs been on the downhill for a couple of years now.
-
I think the Bills flip it and the Jets and Phins stay poorly run franchises. I could see the Phins maybe taling a step this year with the owner being suspended but deflating next year when he returns. I just can't put much believe in poorly run teams. The Bills are set to rule that division for now. Yeah Jones was a quick fix with an incredibly low ceiling. Watching Pickett in Pittsburgh and Jones in NE is a form of payback I guess lol.
-
Sounds like BBs time is winding down in the NFL, no one can keep it up forever. I was banking on a huge slump from Jones this year but not a all out implosion. Sounds fun.

Tepper needs to own up to his mistake and just get it over with.

Great! Now give him Sam's reps...

Baker Mayfield vs. Sam Darnold, Day 7:
Waldo replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Same as yesterday. Get rid of Sam and see what Corral can do with those snaps. Competitions should and can be a positive but the QB and LT compitioins under Rhule look more like CYA based in a poor understanding of how it all works just to get to the finish line that Rhule wanted all along. It is all so poorly done under that dud.
