Sean Payton ‘not a good offense we played..’ s Fowler
Waldo replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
HAHAHAHA. Fug Payton but that's hilarious. There isn't anybody he took a shot at that didn't deserve it so it's funny. I freaking hate being the worst team in the league. -
Jaycee Horn post game confrontation with Sean Payton
Waldo replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
They have a rookie QB who is better than Bryce but still a long ways away from running up the score. Felt like they took their foot off the gas early to me because of that. I have no idea WTF Horn is talking about. -
The fact they are still having monday morning meetings is what DC deserves for signing up for this clown show. My only question is who gets fired first because someone in that dumpster will be scapegoated soon.

It's time to flush the toilet at the end of the season. DC is 8 games in and is nowhere near ready to be a HC. He isn't even a great OC, below average really. WTF is the point of dragging this into another year? In a couple more years he will finally be ready for the job he already has. Brady needed to go somewhere good and learn more. He did. He wasn't ready when he left here so keeping those guys doesn't mean they will ripen in a situation that is steeped in failure, it means they need to go somewhere good and work their way back up. That's DC to me. I wouldn't even want him as an OC at this point.

It's the only reason to watch this game. Hopefully Andy gets well soon and we can just limp through the season but today is going to be a trainwreck. A good D and a team that's willing to run the ball is a bad catchup.

It was always the obvious path once Young proved who he was in this retool. Johnson isn't signing anything here so ship him off for whatever they can get and call it what it is, the best option in a bad situation. His attitude was a know quantity before he got here so it's no real surprise, he isn't giving a discount and he doesn't want to play for a team without a QB since he has been in WR hell for the last 3 years. It's a win-win.

He does stack up yards in garbage time. But with the Broncos running well they should eat up most of that time and shrink his usual stat padding. I say under 100 given that situation. Their D will feast on him all day so it could be an implosion day with nowhere to hid the fact of what he is in the NFL.

Dianna Russian: several teams interested in Bryce Young
Waldo replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
They could have...before the OG deals and any other free agent moves. Just trade him or cut him as a june 1st designation and then start building the team for 2024. -
Dianna Russian: several teams interested in Bryce Young
Waldo replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah Morgan was in the room when they drafted him last year so good luck with that. If you think him sticking around didn't involve a plan to build up Bryce than you're crazy. They should have fired Morgan too and just hired sane people without the Young mistake hanging over them before they even began... -
This crew hasn't shown they have figured out who the core should be that's here now. I just hope the talk of keeping Chubba was all PR speak because him and Johnson are about the only 2 guys with value, both of those 2 should be walking at worst so why not. Those are not going to be core guys and this team needs to eat a bunch of bad contracts or they will be showing up with next with mostly the same mistakes.

REPORT: Panthers will not trade Chuba Hubbard
Waldo replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
They can and should when the situation dictates it's the right move. They have one bad RB contract they meed to eat, just blew a 2nd on a guy who they rave about and adding another expensive RB contract is a bad move. The other 2 moves dictate it's the right call and they need to pray that Brooks if legit and also being in another RB once they dump Sanders. Also maybe if they didn't blow so much on OGs it would be an option but given the state of the D and the already committed cap it's 100% the right move to not pay Hubbard. The problem was never about getting picks for players, except Moore and that stupid trade, it's the people picking the players. That can also be addressed and improved. -
I really don't like being worse than the Jets lately. They are the next worst team in the Tepper error and it stinks. Darnold is on a 1 year deal in a perfect situation for him. We didn't use him well, as the bridge he could be, but we sure are not built for him to succeed here now. Of all of the terrible choices and outcomes he isn't very high on my list when compared to the rest of the poo show.

What would a successful game for Young look like?
Waldo replied to TN05's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ride in on a unicorn, look like an actual NFL player in game and then ride off the field on Santa's sleigh after a win...because all of that is a fantasy. The real win would be his last game in a Panther uniform. IR from a bruised career would be the win I desperately need to make this nightmare end. -
REPORT: Panthers will not trade Chuba Hubbard

If you want to draft better then we need new people. I'm more impressed with the 3rd rounders than the first 2. That is not good or good enough. -
Dianna Russian: several teams interested in Bryce Young
Waldo replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
After he plays again this season we are going to have to cut him. He will not make the 53 so expect another camp and some preseason matchups agaisnt #3s to try and drum up a trade which won't happen. -
The only positive with Young playing would be him finding his way to IR. Tweak something and that wasted roster spot opens up. That's all I have. He is terrible and I hope whatever it takes to have less of him moving forward happens. I exhausted with his dead weight hanging over the team since he showed up. Just make it end
-
He is going to be murdered. I might actually watch just to see that.

Dan Graziano: Panthers will trade Diontae Johnson

Cleaning house with tradable guys would probably show a commitment to the current crew, or most of them, for next year. As it stands these guys look like they could be fired but they also earned that. It was always a patch job with the retool anyways. That lasted 2 games and there hasn't been much built except the injury report. Not selling on guys with contracts coming up that we shouldn't afford because they are not core players or players we can depend upon at a much higher rate of pay then I think it looks like the entire crew could be on the hot seat. I'm fine with that, even with the recent history. These guys are not team bulders. They are the D squad that was kept around to prop up Young. No reason to get behind that or more of that.
