The real win would be his last game in a Panther uniform. IR from a bruised career would be the win I desperately need to make this nightmare end.

If you want to draft better then we need new people. I'm more impressed with the 3rd rounders than the first 2. That is not good or good enough.

After he plays again this season we are going to have to cut him. He will not make the 53 so expect another camp and some preseason matchups agaisnt #3s to try and drum up a trade which won't happen.

The only positive with Young playing would be him finding his way to IR. Tweak something and that wasted roster spot opens up. That's all I have. Cleaning house with tradable guys would probably show a commitment to the current crew, or most of them, for next year. As it stands these guys look like they could be fired but they also earned that. It was always a patch job with the retool anyways. That lasted 2 games and there hasn't been much built except the injury report. Not selling on guys with contracts coming up that we shouldn't afford because they are not core players or players we can depend upon at a much higher rate of pay then I think it looks like the entire crew could be on the hot seat. I'm fine with that, even with the recent history. These guys are not team bulders. They are the D squad that was kept around to prop up Young. No reason to get behind that or more of that.

I don't think the people in charge are capable of building a core or anything much around it. This team is going to need to draft really well while also building a roster that has the kind of structure that puts people in places to succeed. Looking at the D it is a joke, I have no idea why we brought in so many duds the last 2 years. The offense will lose some guys and still needs some big pieces to not regress while not going out and spending like drunk clowns in free agency. I just don't see the current crew pulling that off.

It's all about his value. It only goes down if they play him. If he was the answer they would be playing him. That's it. Dalton is 37 in a week and headed towards retirement. If you remember him in NO then none of this is a surprise even with the fun Raiders game. Young isn't playable, they are trying some reps but it still looks really bad. He is already gone and a trade is better than a cut but he won't make it to the 53 next year. They will take a swing at a QB and they need a vet so they have options and CYA. We are picking 1 or 2. There is zero space in that equation for Young. I wasn't trying to come off as belittling or talking down to you. If I did I apologize but it's all the truth. If they aren't playing him after that last game it's obvious that is not the path. DC saying it's all about Dalton just confirms it.

Bryce would be gone if they could trade him. He isn't the future any more than Dalton, Dalton is just better and that is why DC is still playing him. Young had negative yards his opportunity this game. Young is absolutley the the worst of those 2 evils.

It's trade or being him to camp knowing he won't make the 53 with actual competition. But it won't be until the offseason. That's why playing him as little as possible while making it look like training is 100% the right call.

Yeah that's his knock. But he looks great. He needs a solid offseason and a dad bod lol. It's a process and that team needs work. Him sitting was absolutely the right call. No rush there, it's not worth it to ruin talent just to try and make a playoff appearance in year 1.

Also Mariota just put up more points than Williams against us. The only knock I have seen from Daniels is he is growing and that injury, which I still don't know how bad it is.

Ward looks solid and he is the best option from the little I have seen. I like what I have also seen from his attitude. Tons of upside and room to improve. He projects well to the NFL IMO. Daniels looks great on a much worse team. Williams looks talented but I bet he will go the Baker route, not because of talent but because of his brain/maturity. Go look at Baker's rookie year numbers and remember who he still was when he came to Carolina, well he didn't leave that way. We couldn't get poo for pressure on Williams and the little we could get he folded on those plays. Heaps of talent and it's going to take a lot of time for him to mature, which is a bad combo with a #1 pick. Whatever, Sanders would be that guy in this draft IMO so do not want. He is so overhyped.

We are picking 1 or 2, probably 1. Best QBs are in the top 10 sure, not all but most. But since the 2021 draft and that unusual year the 1st pick is not the best pick as a QB. Daniels is absolutely a better QB than Williams. I don't want Sanders either. Stop putting logic in Tepper's moves. If he was logical or reasonable this team wouldn't be a dumpsterfire. It's a red flag of BS. Tepper is capable of anything but the good I will belive them it finally happens because it has not ever yet. They already had a #1 pick and epically blew it. I'm fine with the #2 with this crew. Our GM was in the room when they drafted Young so it's not like there has been massive change from that historical failure. Take a breath and don't get it twisted is my advice. This crew put together a team earning a top pick 2 years in a row and your worried about missing out and not them making a bad pick again which should be the real worry.

They can't eat Young's dead money until the end of the season. Maybe if they do a fire sale but then why bring in Fields for a year when you just sold off the guys he will need the rest of the season?

We do not. The best QB is not usually at the top. The idea Tepper trades back goes agaisnt everything he is. He absolutely loved the spotlight and people being forced to talk about him after that trade. And they will still likely end up with it anyways. If the coaching doesn't improve it's damn near a lock.

Cutting him is perfectly fine too but gwtting anyone to take him is better at any price. He is unplayable. If Dalton looks that bad then Young will look worse. He literally won't throw past the LOS unless the D is playing prevent. It worked for a few plays 2? Weeks ago and didn't on Sunday after they had that many plays of film on what to expect. It's a bad take. He isn't Baker or Darnold. He is worse than Russell. They already secured a top 3 pick. That doesn't matter. It's a lock given the state of the team and coaching.
