Like everything it all depends. It's looking good for us after another week like this one.

NFL Shocker: Texans part ways with Jack Easterby
Waldo replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
From everything I heard about Easterby then it is a great move for them. I am shocked their owner did this because he seemed like a great fit there, not good but fit. What is next Kiem gets fired along with Clingsberries? Bad NFL owners doing good things? Craziness -

Yup. I think we lose some we want to keep but that want a change after this kind of failure.

Anyone that gets a rediculous bid and any vet on a 2nd contract. The guys on rookie contracts should be safe. Horn, Brown, Ickey, Chinn, BC and whoever I am forgetting are solid building blocks on the cheap. Load up on 2023 and 2024 picks.

Jacob Eason… Come on down. Thoughts on his limited play?’
Waldo replied to panthersgreenville's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's my fault for looking. -
A great example of why fire sells exist. Good players pissed, bad players taking up huge chunks of the cap and some solid areas that might not make it through the rest of this year anyways with how bad it is going. Friterer should just open a call center over the next 3 weeks.

A fire sell is starting to look not only good but sensible.

Predict when Robbie Anderson is Traded or Released.
Waldo replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
I wouldn't complain about him walking back and us just passing on any compensation just to say FU to him tonight. If we can get a later pick, even a 7th, it is the smart play. -
Just embrace it… take the L’s and let’s get the #1 pick

Predict when Robbie Anderson is Traded or Released.

Might not be on the plan back but I expect him to be shipped off for anything by Wednesday if not tomorrow by lunch. -
Thank you, PJ. And fug you NFL. And fug you Refs.
Waldo replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
As long as we get a franchise QB I don't care. Watching PJ get his head targeted without a call is some BS after the calls they are giving other QBs. Poop rolls downhill and collects at us so hopefully we get a tough rookie. -
I honestly thought we might win this week, have to hear about what could be for 1 week and then this reality come crashing down. Meh, what did we really expect? Decent D, solid energy on the D and an offense that is historically bad regardless of effort. Once the Rams adjusted at halftime we had nothing more to give. We are getting a top pick and new staff folks.

I never liked the guy and now I like him even less. Holy shite there it is, a peak behind the curtain of stupid. If I was a kid and this guy got hired at my school I would transfer. I hope Tepper learned because if he comes near that BS again from any employee he should tell them to go fug themselves and not look back.

My thing with Wilks his he doesn't bring anything of value to the offensive side and it would feel like just more of the same. We can get a damn good DC without trying, hell I would be more interested in Wilks as a DC is he can get jus that unit tightened up. Ron, Fox, whatever the fug Rhule was. Can we just get one coach that knows how to score and wants to do a lot of it? Maybe play some chess instead of tic-tac-toe we have had to sit through for years?

REPORT: Burns practically a "lock" to be traded before the deadline
Waldo replied to saX man's topic in Carolina Panthers
I wonder if it is because he wants out? I was hoping we wouldn't do anything with Burns until after the season. Also ses early unless it is coming from Burns side and the attention he is getting from teams. Hard to say no to multi 1st deal. We are in a rebuild or pre-rebuild now. This just seems way early for this move. How about RA first? -
Get back to it and stop moving away would be ideal.

Person analyzes Rhule's time as Panthers coach

He couldn't even make it into the season healthy and that was one of his concerns coming out. I hope he gets a shot but if we have a chance to draft a solid prospect we should still do that. Swing until you get hit. Rams got 1 year and a SB out of Stafford and the Broncos didn't even get 1 good year out of Wilson. Just draft a QB and if you miss then try again.

Just have fun the rest of the season. That is it. The players want to win. The coaches want to win. The fans just want a future so we want a QB. I already won this year so what is left is just a bonus. I'm not taking anything left very seriously until we see what the next plan looks like. Good teams find good QBs or make less than desirable QBs better than they normally play. We haven't been a good team, who knows what comes next.
